I was unaware of this unique bluesman until I watched the movie "Roadhouse" after it was on TV the first time. Shocked by his early demise from cancer which was related to his blindness. Jeff Healey (RIP).

Hi Johnny. Yes, Jeff had both eyes removed by the age of one because of retinoblastoma (a rare cancer of the retina) but he was cancer free until the age of 38 when he developed an unrelated cancer, sarcoma which ultimately took his life...
