Was interested to see the site you used at La Manga. We stayed there a good few years ago with our caravan but left after 3 days. We had heard about the La Manga Club and assumed the campsite would be good as well. Unfortunately it was awful. Very dusty and dirty and the restaurant was ankle deep in litter. Many pitches were occupied with large 5th wheel caravans with occupants wearing Stetson hats. We were also concerned about the water in the lagoon as it was not very clean but children were swimming in it. We did drive along the Strip but it was almost totally deserted. The thought of being in one of the apartments did not look appealing. Fortunately a friend recommended a site the other side of Cartagena and we moved. Completely different and have returned many times since. We are envious of your trip but being cowards, prefer much hotter weather so will wait until nearer summer. Enjoy yourselves.

Which app do you use to plan your cycle routes?

I have a Hammerhead Karoo 2 cycle GPS and I use their app (website) to quickly create a route. It is not the best tool but OK. If we are going on a more complicated route or a long journey I typically use Ride With GPS and that syncs with the Karoo very easily. We also make use of local resources - e.g. many tourist offices have local cycle route and even websites with GPS tracks available. Have great rides! Best regards, Jeff
