Hey great videos Jeff, I love your videos, it always looks like your having such a blast and the mixing of the camera is great! Recommendations: First I would love to see more chill music to reflect your style and flow and can still hear the raw sound. Second, you could improve on Trails that change and have more color then just a dark forest the hole time. Lastly find some guests (like Nate) to ride with (if they can even keep up with you ;) - Sick!!

Love your videos, makes me wanna ride every time I watch them and you are really inspirational with the informative narrative and kick ass edits and cool music. I like the new format! I have a question about the differences in feel and ideal customers for the Mojo 3 vs the HD4. I guess as relates to Galbraith where I mostly ride: for someone who tries to ride just singletrack uproutes (minimal roads) and is finally hitting the point where I'm starting to play more on downhills as opposed to just surviving them.
@JeffKendallWeed
@JeffKendallWeed 7 жыл бұрын
Hey JR, great question! The best thing to do would be to see if Fanatik has some demo bikes to try out. The HD4 is a lot more bike than the Mojo3. Personally, I do prefer the HD4 as my Galbraith all-arounder, but that's mostly due to the extra capabilities on the downs. I much prefer the 36 fork over the 34 that comes on the Mojo3. A lot of this comes down to your own preferences though.

Hey... I Watched the other videos a couple of months ago when you put the hd4 through it's paces properly. Since then managed to get my hands on a factory team version. From Wallner actually =) Have been riding it in serious terrain and putting it through some hard stuff for about 5 weeks now and i just could'nt agree with you more.... This bike is fucking stupid fast and super stable. Yet, it remains super agile, poppy, playful, snappy and all that. Do'nt wanna come off sounding like a paid off marketing guy or anything, but yeah, it's really all those things and really all that good..... In my head i ride like even though i'm faaaar from it IRL but never the less... This bike makes me feel like a pro =) Owned the mojo C and the mojo SL but never got to try the HD or the HD3. Best way to describe it is that its the perfect mix between a stumpy and the enduro... And IMOH it climbs quite well too. It just gets me up just about anything so far, only my legs stopping me, beating my 650b enduro 2017 in that regard by miles.... Thanks for the videos, the trails just looks so freaking cool. Irish death would definitely be a treat to ride some time in life... Cheers and greetings from Sweden!

Hi, which wheels do you use ? Width, material ? And what about your groupset, brakes ? Thank you.
@JeffKendallWeed
@JeffKendallWeed 7 жыл бұрын
Hi there Paquita, I use either WTB Asym i35 rims on Shimano XT, these are aluminum and very durable, or I use Ibis 742 carbon rims. I'll use the alloy WTB rims for regular riding/training and for plus tires, and I'll use the carbon Ibis rims for videos, races, or with normal tires. Both options are very good!
@paquitalysao9205

Are your footage sped up? Really good riding skills
@JeffKendallWeed
@JeffKendallWeed 7 жыл бұрын
No, nothing is sped up. Since the woods are so dark, the camera uses a very slow shutter, which blurs everything quite a bit. I'm typically at an ISO 3200, and stuck down at like 1/60 shutter. Take a look at Nate Hill's uploads from his rides here, we had good sunlight and a tad less motion blur on his vids.

You have a distinct (awesome) style on and off the bike that is reminiscent of Matt Robinson, a guy I met in CO from Hawaii who cut his bike teeth in the PNW. It's the techy moves and nose manuals that really make me say trials influence. It's refreshingly different than a lot of the on-trend berm smashing (also cool). Yuor riding is great Jeff!
