one thing folks should keep in mind is that Jackie & Jeffrey clearly have had interactions that none of us were present for that speaks to the fact that this tension is much deeper than a few tweets. Jackie even mentions that there is a lot of ugliness that we will not see. so think about that as well as the fact that these tweets are just what they have CHOSEN to share with us publicly, there is always more context when the people actually know each other and most especially when they are in the same industry. i believe they have had negative interactions or the actions of each of them have had some adverse effect on something in their careers. and i say this because as a person who understands professional relationships i can see hints of something more. i feel like we may never know how deep it truly goes but just from tweets, you can gather what a person's general disposition is. a person's online presence is what they choose to share with us and if someone chooses to share disrespectful and petty rhetoric i could only imagine what they say in private but that is no tea, no shade on either side....

My opinion: this drama has been going on for months and months. If he truly regretted his past behaviour the way he states in his latest video, he would have apologized right when the drama started getting real hot. It's called damage control. Especially when you feel like you are being perceived incorrectly, you will do everything you can to make it right aka apologizing and improving your behaviour. But he never improved his behaviour, he is still as bitchy as he was 12 years ago, takes everything way too personal and lashes out way too easily, way too much and way too hard. Therefore I doubt his attitude towards WOC has changed at all.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here, Jeffree could have had Jackie blocked before her anti-haul and said months because he thought it was. I know personally I'm pretty bad at estimating how long ago something happened, especially something like blocking someone, if I don't have an exact date to pin it to, so I've probably said months about things that happened a month or less prior.

Although that’s a legitimate point, I highly doubt it. As much as we all hate it, Jeffree is an icon in the beauty industry. His fandom is rock hard, and he really doesn’t need any extra support to be successful.
