I use this thing for about two years now and wouldn't wanna miss it. I spray the fluid on the floor in front of it, much easier. On stone I use a vinegar-based cleaner/water mix, on wooden floors (which I do less often) a parquet-detergent/water mix. Yes, it is slow but just imagine how slow you would be, if you scrubbed every inch in cyrcles by hand! The fact that it does that makes the floors a lot cleaner than by just wiping over it with some mop. I learnt to use it to relax for a few minutes, quiet effective for normally busy people😊 As you mentioned: Of course the floor needs to be hoovered first. The idea of some (and the complaints) that it doesn't pick up the bits were very strange to me, how would it?!? It's a bit loud but that's due to being built simply, hence the price which imo is low. And last but not least: Thanks for your videao which back then helped me decide to get it.

I purchased the Floor Police mop and just love it. Yes it can take a little longer to go over the floor but because the unit is light weight it makes it easier to use especially if you have arthritis. I also bought separate cleaning pads and use the mop to wash my walls; again the unit is light weight and can be used over my head on the walls. Corners are a bit of a problem but I have a square tool to handle that.

Before I start with the Swiffer, I spray some liquid Bruce Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner. I just saw this today for the first time. It looked very interesting! I noted in your trial review how very noisy this mop is when it's on! No way I could handle that loud of constant noise!! Great review. I can definitely see a use for it. The infomercial made it look like it picked up instantly but definitely more time consuming. It would be cool if it had adjustable motor speed. The camera makes it look slow. I know if it had thousands RPM spinning it could be a potential child hazard. They could mke that with a safety protection switch. Thank you. I'd still probably get it because there are a couple spots on the floor that won't clean with anything else.

Thank you for testing on dry substances. I don't care what someone is using if they treat right away or comes off with ease. I hate laundry detergent commercials. Because one doesn't even need detergent when they are washing an item immediately after spill. Great job! My mother used to make us clean the floors and stairs with a brush, a bucket and a wash cloth. I promise you one could eat off our floors. We grew up in a 12k sq feet house with hard wood in every surface except one of the living rooms. The happiest day of my life was when my parents hired a live in maid. When I mop, or use a cloth, I wring them out often, to cut down on spreading dirt & bacteria from one area to another. There's no way to wring it out. I guess you could take them off after couple of square feet to rinse, but that would make the cleaning process with this tool even longer.
