To me, there is absolutely NO excuse those two cops can come up with to justify allowing a man with a story to take a child back to his apartment and subsequently killed. If the young “man” was naked and bleeding as witnesses described, it seems the obvious thing to do was get his home address and bring him home! Even if they believed JD, that he was his boyfriend whatever drove someone to run through the street, naked and bleeding should be taken seriously enough to realize that separating the two for the night was the prudent thing to do. Even the female who called the police department later that night instinctively felt something was very wrong. The sickening, racist, homophobic and lazy actions of those two are responsible for the murder of that child. They should have been prosecuted for their part in his death. The laughter on the recording is despicable.

This man saved alot of lives and no one can ever take that credit away from him. That being said, it's true that hurt people hurt people when they're not healed from their trauma. Tracy hurt me in a way that ultimately lead me moving far away to another state to escape the memory of the way he traumatized me. Almost twenty years later, I'm just now discovering that he was victimized by JD. I had no idea since I tried to block out what Tracy did to me. I forgave him in my heart years ago for my own peace and now that I know that the man who sexually victimized me is the same man that was almost murdered by that demon JD, I'm in shock all over again yet feel sorry for him at the same time. @@brookiegremlin6660 no. I was 29 when he drugged and sexually assaulted me. The very day he did that to me only a few hours later actually, he was arrested to physically assaulting another woman. I was too traumatized to go through a trial and everything that's involved in that type of case and decided to move to another state. I didn't know him. He was a coworker at the time who I thought was gay and nonthreatening. He tricked me into meeting him at a bar in town to play pool by saying that a bunch of other people from work would be there. I drove there and he was there and no one else showed up. He bought me a couple of drinks that he spiked when I went to the restroom. The hospital lab results found the drug in my system. Jeffrey was a master manipulator. I often found myself feeling like I "liked" Jeffrey, or at least sympathized with him, related with him much more than say a Ted Bundy or a John Gacy. Because Jeffrey admitted to his crimes, he took full responsibility. Whereas a lot of the others were arrogant and put on a show, lied and tried to deflect responsibility. But the more I think about it the more I do not buy into the whole "oh if I could have turned one into a zombie I wouldn't have had to have killed another." Jeffrey liked killing. I don't care what anybody says, you don't kill 17 or more people and not like it. Jeffrey obviously got out of quite a few situations very lightly due to his manipulation, such as getting a lighter sentence when he was found guilty for sexually molesting someone, having the police hand him his victim right back to him, I kind of think somewhere deep down Jeffrey thought even after he got caught that if he admitted to everything and played his charm they would let him back out. Whether or not he admitted to anything he was going to get the same sentence. But I really do think he thought maybe he could go free or to a hospital. He enjoyed killing. Whether or not he wanted to or not, like say a alcoholic "not wanting" to have another drink but doing it anyway. In the same way they know they shouldn't have another drink, Jeffery knew he should not kill again, but he did anyway because he liked it. All that BS "I just wanna cuddle". Naww. Jeff dug deep into a side most of us have, but not all let out. He let it out. And he liked it.

Tracy's story here is different to the one he tell in court. In the court one there is no mention of skulls in the fridge and looking in the vat of acid. He also says there were 8 locks on the door and infact there was 2.

Its sad and disappointing to hear that the police could have prevented a death in these kinds of cases.. they weren’t trained to assess that kind of situation though…i always believe that forensic scientist should always accompany a police officer at all times when there’s a call on smell.

Aunt no excuses for that B.S. ! If those ladies who were not trained and not cops knew that kid was in danger there is no way the cops missed it due to "lack of training"; tired of hearing that lame excuse for apathy, hatred, and racism.

This video really showcases the differences between the demeanor of the victim's families and the outside people listening to the case (audience, other citizens) vs. the white people that "knew" Dahmer. They are so quick to divert and say that he is the victim or that "he didnt do this alone". They focus on Dahmer and not the actual actions he did and how inhumane they were

I'd go as far to say that I don't think they knew him at all. Most of these shows pay their guests to appear so they wanted some easy money and maybe their 15 minutes (the "boyfriend" was especially transparent imo). Their claims were so ridiculous! I'm feel bad for the victim's that had to share a stage with them.

That’s because there are two sides to this story, a human brain isn’t black and white it’s a complex issue that needs to be talked about. You assume that a perpetrator can’t also be a victim at the same time? Dhamer was very much a victim of his father his mom and his circumstances. It may not excuse his inhumane actions but if you don’t believe that a persons childhood and nurture doesn’t affect them later in life then your dead wrong. Do some research on this man’s psychology and he was messed up, this kid had absolutely 100% chance of turning out fine had he been raised in a better household environment and with people who actually cared about his emotional well-being enough to get him the help that he needed. None of this would’ve happened.

@@SweetJeopardywell the boyfriend probably wasn’t wrong about the sexual abuse part, Lionel did claim to the fbi agent that Jeff was assaulted by some “mysterious neighbor” when he was just 8 years old. I have no reason to believe that’s false considering the fact that the dad was so insisting on sharing this information with the police at first, but then later to deny it ever happening in multiple interviews and even his own book. Maybe it’s not the dad who hurt his son I don’t want to spread rumors or false information Maybe it was someone else and he doesn’t want to talk about it, either way something is off about the father and I don’t like it.
