Saw them at a little local festival. They did one song, then asked "What do you want to hear?" Everything from then on was by request. Amazing.

How fantastic to rediscover these guys. El Ray-O-X, Los Lobos and the Dead for three day at Laguna Seca 1987. If you weren’t there, you we’re nowhere. Great then, great now!

I saw Los lobos in livingston, Montana in the 90s with Cheryl Crow. It was an open air concert in Sacajawea Park by the Yellowstone River. It was great.

Last time I saw LL, Cesar entered the theater through the front doors with all the paying fans. He was searched and shook down like everybody else. The staff had no idea at all who he was. Venue was Fox Theater in Visalia, Ca. just prior to Covid.

The very first time I saw this band was in 1984 at a legendary dump in Chicago called Tuts. Needless to say, I've seen them many times since.

to get to a place where you can take a buddy holly song and play it just how you would if you were him today must be really really fn rocking and rolling cool
@aljustal65542 жыл бұрын
Except....they didn't play any Buddy Holly songs, at least not in this show. Maybe you're thinking of Ritchie Valens? (La Bamba)

Saw them about a year earlier in Wilmington NC...they were not nearly as powerful as they are in this footage, but very good nonetheless. They are all playing mostly Fender here...they played Gibson when I saw them...except Conrad...
