Cephas your character encourages me a lot. I have two autistic special needs kids... Am encouraged by you and Mummy Monde. 😍 😍 😍

Your comment on support is very true, our Zambian parents only recognise education as key, yet the road to success is wider than education alone. Education is just one component of success.

Cephas, this is Zambia, yalikosa!!!!Whether u had support from your parents in your acting career or not....u will still be where u are today!!!!Love your papa....hug him more,he was just trying to be a daddy!!!And ....NEVER WASH YOUR DIRT LAUNDRY IN PUBLIC,family is family!!!!

Most times parents don't encourage the creative side of their children because of being conditioned to aim for the 'white collar jobs' May we do better by our kids. Non toxic support systems are needed more...

It's rare that creatives are supported to do what they enjoy the most..they are mostly underrated ...thumbs up for going after your purpose....passion is everything everything!!

Touching story, too bad about parents but that's the average or typical zambian parent worry too much about what others think because you'll look like a failure if your child doesn't do well in school or you'll be said to be irresponsible for letting your child follow talent instead of school. Need for mindset change

Sometime you can forgive parents of old for behaving that way towards their children's careers choices because they had their fair share of stigma to deal with. They have since learned from stories like cephas'.

It seems like he's not proud of his parents and might not support them, the parents thought they were doing justice to him. parents always want the best for the children regardless of their status, he just have to understand and appreciate them whether he paid for his school fees or not. Otherwise congratulations for your talent and continue working hard.
