Cattle rearing is a private business and the herders should acquaint themselves with that reality. This is the 21st century, I wonder how a sane government wants to be the bearer of the financial burden of Herdsmen, how about farmers? What infrastructure has been provided for them?

So Jega will head this livestock ministry too..? Well, he has brought the APC to power in 2015, so this new ministry must have been a compensation plan for him

Yes , it should be a gradual process because of the huge funds involved . but what is the plan to stop cattle from encroaching into people's farms and destroying their crops?

Please I want to ask... Is cattle rearing one of the natural resources of Nigeria? I mean like oil, gas, coal, gold etc...? So why can't cattle owners rent or buy a place to do the cattle business?
@ifeanyiemmanuel6300Ай бұрын
What a waste of valuable resources? Northerners can never stop to be mischievous. Your professorship is a total waste! Is cattle business not a private business?

You can't sell a cow for 1 million and graze for free
