I was recruited by "The hard core sister with bookshelves full of old light, still making those 10 hours a month". Just a few days ago I saw two elders propping up such an elderly sister on a folding chair at my shopping mall. The cart standing metres away all by itself...yes...this is zealous preaching 2024....

Perfectly ranked. As a PIMO Jehovah's Witness, myself, you're gonna want a PIMO friend. Trust me, you're gonna want someone like that for mental stability in this cult.

Most PIMO don't make other PIMO friends cause of the risks in it. Me personally, as much as I wish I had an exjw or pimo friend as a former JW, I don't think it would be productive. I'm trying to move on, not trauma bond. It can be hard though having none of my friends truly understand just how this cult has affected me, but honestly that kind of connection causes problems, I got enough issues I'm trying to work on without trying to help someone else too you know

@@Levi-hs6mg I've actually found a PIMO friend, and we automatically bonded cause we went through the same circumstances in life. It might not be the best option for some, but for me, it has helped tremendously. I even dropped all my former PIMI friends, in the process.

@mexicanson Well good for you then, I think your experience is a very rare thing. I'm curious, how did you meet your PIMO friend? I feel like the only way would be to meet then online, cause it's not like you can go around your cong making it obvious that your PIMO lol, and even if you think someone is PIMO you can't just ask them

@@Levi-hs6mg He went to the next congregation over, in another town, 15 minutes away from where I live. We've always been friends, but he was DF's for 2 years, and then one year later I was DF'd for 3 years. Just recently, we've reconnected and bonded quickly. He's behavior and actions actually indicated to me that this guy doesn't follow the rules, and he noticed it in me too, so one day I just plainly asked me,"Hey bro, you PIMO?" And he said, "Hell ya, I was gonna ask u the same thing!" Lol. Best night ever. 💪

Where did my family fall in my mom went and my dad didn’t go. it was just my mom me and my two younger brothers but my mom at Home took the meetings very seriously in the rules. I wasn’t allowed to run around with kids from school or in the neighborhood and kids could come over and play with me(non witness kids)at the Kingdom Hall my mom would rarely answer me and my brothers answered more than she did at the KH we were kind as seen as the weirdos. I guess after a while people at the kingdom hall really quit having anything to do withus.
