My JW brother is still “in”. I wish he’d come out with his health and with Jesus, but he’s waiting for Armageddon. Nothing else matters to him. He’s told if he leaves, he’ll miss his deceased JW wife in the resurrection because he’ll be destroyed. They’ve hurt him badly. It’s heartbreaking. But I have Faith God knows him and will be very Loving with him. I can’t help anymore because the Elders won’t allow me (an apostate) to get near him. I’ve let go. (But not really).

It really breaks my heart to see this is still going on. The poor children who were raised in the "Truth" are the main ones who seem to be waking up. It must be very difficult compared to myself who came into it by the door to door ministry. I was pre 1975 a pioneer and remember the inside of every Awake magazine where the cover said God`s promise of a New System would be before the generation of 1914 would pass away. We did not have the internet so it was very difficult to know pass beliefs. I was lucky I did not waste many years because I had to follow my heart due to my orientation. I feel sick when J. W. come to my door I feel so sorry because they have no idea what we went thru and how they lied. Your so right, however at least the internet is here and people like you are helping people get free.

Not long ago, and Elder came and gave a talk. During the watchtower study, he made the comment about how much Rebecca really must have loved Sarah and how much they got along. I asked him after the meeting if he didn’t realize that one of the reasons Rebecca comforted Isaac was because he was morning the loss of his mother Sarah, and Rebekah and Sarah never met. Crickets 🫠🫠🫠🫠 In my experience, the average JW Elder has very limited knowledge of the most basic things in the Scriptures.

My bethelite days were under a former GB regime. Not a single one of those “heavies”, as we used to call them, is still alive today. Years later, I revisited the old Columbia Heights buildings before the move upstate. It was a cruel slap in the face of reality to see a couple of the remaining GB members as emaciated old codgers, waning away in wheelchairs in some obscure corner of the bethel infirmary. These new guys are obviously destined for the same. For me the matter is closed. But I really like your style. Straightforward and to the point. I discovered the Christian faith and the truths of the Bible after having said goodbye to JW. I was a hardcore JW 30 years but NO JWs Do NOT study the Bible, they pick verses and build their Rutherfordian fairy tales on it. There are plenty of deep and spiritually rich books and talks of biblical theologians with high academic credentials everywhere that make the Warwick nine look like amateurs. That’s why no serious Christian with deep Bible knowledge will ever become a JW. They only focus on people who want to go to paradise or who are instable.

I have just started to watch this. I watched your earlier one about narcissistic tactics. I must have upset community standards because my com failed to post. If Armaggedon is coming like a thief in the night and we are in the last days of the last day's of the last days, instead of fixating on it, if I get a new burglar alarm system fitted so I can sleep soundly, could Stephen Letts tell me how long should I take out a 24 hour monitoring system contract for? I thought about asking Jesus but I think he said that no one but his Father in Heaven knows the hour and the day. Jesus doesn't even know the answer. But recently I have come to understand that the Governing Body are able to interpret through new light that Jehovah's will is subject to scrutiny and debate from it's previous unquestionable meaning. So shall I tell, Chubb or ADT a year, 2 years, 5 years? Or another 150 years?

Matthew 24 was a dual prophecy and I believe “this generation” most likely only referred to the generation that were young when Jesus spoke those words, and were still alive in 70 CE when “all these things” had occurred. Just as the preaching of the good news had occurred before 70 CE - see Colossians 1:23. At this point in time, it’s all about waiting for the return of Christ, which I believe is imminent, given the worldwide attack on Christianity.

One thing the witnesses have not known they really have had no knowledge of the book of Revelation. Their old explanations of this book are so outdated and inaccurate, for example Revelation 11, the 2 witnesses. Who am I kidding its all the chapters in the book. I remember about 26 years ago a witness wanted me to attend a meeting I went for his sake, not mine I was more than content with my biblical knowledge, so I went, the whole meeting was reading from a pamphlet or a tract and yhen they asked the questions in the tract, and people would raise their hands and give the answers that were in the tracts. So after the meeting he asked me what I thought? I told him plainly I was stunned, I said it was like I was in romper room, a class for or fit for small children, I couldn't believe it. And the speaker was so unbelievably boring, and spiritless, what a colossal waste of time sitting there experiencing that. I felt bad for everyone

The Bible clearly states that before humans appeared on the earth only Jehovah's family of witnesses existed in the universe. The first witness to leave the family was the angel who became "Satan" the first apostate. Today either one is serving Jehovah or the adversary Satan. There is no sitting on the fence.

Jehovah is Satan the devil. He was the one cast out of heaven and is why he had to create his own nation of humans beginning with Adam whom he formed out of dust. He wanted his own nation who would give him the glory honour and worship he desperately craved. Humans were already in existence well before Adam came on the scene. Genesis 1:26, 27. It is why Jehovah/Yahweh is such a cruel heartless evil God in the Hebrew scriptures. He is a God of death and destruction, a God who hates and kills literally 100's of thousands of people throughout. He IS the devil.
