I love and am proud of my brothers and sisters, like Brother Schnell, worldwide who put Jehovah first in their lives and obey the laws of their country as long as those laws do not conflict with the laws written in the Bible. I had the privilege of having a German family, that I did not know before, stay in my home in Brooklyn for two weeks when we all attended an International Convention of Jehovah' Witnesses in New York. We didn't speak their language and they knew little English but we had a great time and enjoyed their company very much. I have been a JW since 1964 when I got baptized. I and two of my spiritual sisters went to the UN to stop the persecution in Malawi Africa at the time Jehovah's Witnesses were being persecuted there and they did. We are a peaceful religion and do not take part in any wars. We will not kill our brothers in other countries because of their politics as we are all citizens of Jehovah's Kingdom. I knew and loved Manny and Audrey Appel who lost his father, who was beheaded and their brother who was shot for being Jehovah's Witnesses.

I was raped by a ministerial servant. He took my virginity at 12 years old. I had to give details of my rape in front of three elders, my parents, and my abuser. That was the most humiliating day of my life. They said because there weren’t 2 witnesses to the rape, I’d have to leave it in Jehovahs hands. They told me not to call the police because that would bring reproach on Jehovahs name. He’s still an active witness. I wonder how many other kids he raped. It suits them to use the two witness rule. We all know that rapists and pedo’s don’t commit their crimes with witnesses around. That organization is the perfect environment for sexual predators. In this instance, it is saying why it is not acceptable for some JWs to have a beard and it's based on tradition. The Watchtower says "In other cultures or localities, beards are not the custom and are not considered acceptable for Christian ministers. In fact, having one may hinder a brother from bringing glory to God by his dress and grooming and his being irreprehensible.​-Rom. 15:1-3; 1 Tim. 3:2, 7." This human thinking, applies in places like Australia and the USA. There is no biblical requirement for christians not to have beards and in those areas, beards are acceptable. It's interesting because you talk about enlightenment or new light. We can see in their own publications that beards were once acceptable for JWs, even Pastor Russel had one whereas their next leader, Rutherford stated they were no longer acceptable. This is only one little example. Their human ideas on 'this generation' is fascinating when you look at their continual flip flopping over the decades.

So true. People need to thoroughly research the name “Jehovah”. It is not what people have been led to believe. freemasonry uses Jehovah and so does the occult. Very serious! Research, research, research. Jesus never used that name, nor Yahweh or endorsed the Tetragrammaton. Jesus only addressed the creator as “father”. Be very careful who you are directing your worship too.

Your leaders make wild claims that they can’t provide evidence for and they use fear and manipulation to control every aspect of a jw. They control how you think, who you can be friends with, who you can marry, how you dress, men can’t have beards, you must choose death over a blood transfusion, you must shun anyone who disagrees with the GB But pedophiles are welcome and will be protected from law enforcement. And they think women are only good for cooking cleaning and supporting their husband no matter what.
