Please remember that while it may seem hopeless the chances are never zero that they'll rework Dehya. They've made adjustments to characters in the past post release (no, not just zhongli) due to overwhelming feedback. If you are genuinely sad about how dysfunctional Dehya is you should direct your frustrations toward the people that can actually do something about it. Spending 3 minutes sending in a feedback about her is much better than sitting back and accepting her in this state PS thanks for another great video, Kage dono

They're not relevant to the current "meta," but I can absolutely see a shift in focus as we enter Fontaine. There are some peculiarities with her kit, and there are definitely some mechanical implementation issues, but I think her niche will become clear by the end of 2023.

Even with mediocre damage and an anti-synergistic burst if they made her E skill’s coordinated attack’s trigger interval 1 second instead of 2.5 seconds she’d be as good as Thoma is for burgeon but without it being locked to a burst. I don’t know why they made her this way but it will forever be frustrating.

Here's Six funny builds for Everyone (Scroll Down and Enjoy) (Kage I recommend you try these out also, and Have FUN!!) Build 1. I* AM Maple* (It's an anime reference to I didn't want to get hurt so I maxed out my DEF/HP) (My build became popular as a Meme apparently, well as long as everyone is having fun it's fine, I guess?) Put Clam Set on Dehya, As Much HP, & Healing % as Possible and a Physical off-piece you get "Maple Mode: Dehya" You stand there get hit and sh-t dies around you, it's hilarious it works with the BELL too for F2P builds. Build 2. *Starlight Vengence* Burst Give Dehya ATK,Crit Chance, Crit Dmg, and as much Burst Damage as possible then spam the Normal attacks as quickly as possible it's apparently possible to push out a 12-hit combo if you nail the timing, and spam it fast enough (I did it Twice, but 9-11 is normally what you'll get) Build 3. Burn the World You Need 4 things Crit Dmg, Crit Chance , Pyro Dmg (Main stat) and ATTACK stats keep building both this is a typical DPS build She will need Sets that offer BURST Damage. But For Dehya it's meant to hit hard. Putting her on a team that generates Energy Particles is Mandatory to get her burst fast enough or Give her the Favonias Greatsword Either works.. I recommend sneaking in Mona as a support alongside Bennet and Kazuha for Particle generation and further buffs. Build 4. I'm MARRIED To ER!!! You Want ER You will be MARRIED TO ER this will allow you to spam Your abilities more You'll Need High Attack and HP As well as the Favonias Greatsword to spam. Build 5. STALLWART GUARDIAN You Want Any Sets that Offer HP, Healing % Def or Resistances, You Need the Bell for this one as it gives you a shield for MORE Def. Dehya is Meant to Tank here. Build 6. Omni-Elementalist This Build requires two things an Infusion Character and an Artifact Set that Boosts that Element Placed on Dehya Works currently with Candace & Depth set , OR Chongyun & Strayer set. She's Pyro already otherwise I would've suggested C6 Bennet and Crimson set Build her stat wise for Atk and ER. This Build also works amazingly for Physical Burst Units like Eula, Mika, or Razor.

So something of note to everyone. Dehya's Trial, is kinda rigged. The normal mobs will be inflicted with the wet status effect regardless if you use barabara or not. This applies to Hillichurls mainly. So its done to inflate her damage and make her look stronger then she actually is.

i assume dehya puts on the eye liner is similar to why cheetahs have the dark spots around their eyes, im not sure why exactly but i believe it’s something about the light not being as hard on their eyes if they have those dark spots, so i think that’s why she has the makeup. to keep the harsh desert glow from impeding her vision. edit: so black absorbs the light apparently, i believe that’s how it works.

Idk why but I enjoy the self-heal mechanic way too much. To the point that if her health drops to a certain point that is still above 50%, I'll have her stand on the burning grass so that I trigger that passive. Maybe I should farm Clam after all. Kokomi's situation was different, she was always good, a lot of people were just uninformed.
