In the world of Sweet Jazz City a lucky few are born with powers attached to their very souls known as "Epithets". An Epithet stems from a single word that can grant its user any kind of power. Words like "Fire", "Coupon"... or "Soup". A magical artifact known as the "Arsene Amulet" is rumored to be able to steal an epithet from a person, and they say it’s hidden somewhere in the Sweet Jazz Museum... Thieves burst down the doors in the middle of the night! Inscribed warriors do battle in the dark of the abandoned exhibits! Dinosaur bones come toppling to the floor! And a little girl named Molly is trapped in the middle of it all. Will her epithet, "Dumb" be enough to save her? Or will her epithet be... erased?

Zoras epithet probably has a Incredibly massive drawback probably, Ya know how sundials only work during the day. She does make some clue ins via- wanting to split when it did become night and putting on a show of being much more powerful than she actually is. the fact she did not come back to try and take the amulette. her song specifically indicates you wont live to see the night. Which could indicate its much safer at that time. All of her stuff wore off when it became night.

Maybe but I am pretty sure Percy stated she can manipulate the solar cycle, so the only reason the sun is down in the first place is she allows it. So it is not much of one. Honestly, I think the show addressed her power's biggest weakness, once a process is finished, she can't alter it. Like if an object is falling, the moment it hits the ground, she cannot manipulate its actions anymore. In other words, once a mission or quest reaches its end, she can't reverse the outcome. Alongside the fact that her powers are not permanent unless it meets the end of its life cycle shows elimination in how her powers can interact, at least compared to other time powers. There is also the fact she has reached the height of her powers while the rest all are beginers. In other words, she is not getting any more powerful, while the others are and people can already counter her power. According to the wiki, all the characters are between Level 1-40, the next level is 41-80 and 81-100 is where Zora is.

@@catfoodbob1 And I did say maybe. Though I think around 20:50, it shows the marking around her eyes glow and golden dust appears before she disappears. So, she may still have access to her powers and she used it to blind them like the sun before leaving after admitting defeat (a draw). However, it's difficult to say, and your explanation is a good possibility. I just pointed out that we have already seen plenty of weakness with her power so they may not feel the need to add more consider most of the man cast can counter her powers even at lower levels. Honestly, I think the most OP power is Molly's Epithet Dumb for its sheer application and potential power (episode 4 shows with Geovoni that it can evolve further). It can negate attacks, hide Molly and allies, dispel summons (weak ones for now), and simplify/dumb down people, objects and I assume other powers. She can literally counter every Epithet, including Sun Dial and Ramsey's powers, or person out there and it is only the fact she is a 12-year-old girl who is keeping her from being declared the most powerful character.

I don't think it was a compromise, it's more like an intentional aesthetic to match the feel of a tabletop RPG. The fully animated sequences are more like a bonus to cap off decisive moments. Even so, there's still a lot of work to make the art, voiceovers, and animations (yes, even for the limited animation sections). It may look simple, but it takes effort to make the scenes as polished and lively as they are with this style.

This series is one of the series on KZbin I feel deserves to have an actual show the most. Hell, I’d even argue it has more potential than Hazbin Hotel. Every character is amazing and memorable and the writing is superb. The characters feel especially great because it’s like everyone is a comic relief character but in entirely different ways which makes for some of the funniest jokes I’ve seen in a show. If we could get a fully animated series in my lifetime that would be a dream come true. Unfortunately I’m not too hopeful about that happening from everything I’ve heard.

Ramsey is funny because he plays a really good straightman to everyone else's antics. For anyone who may not know what that means, in comedy a straightman is the more serious character who wants the story to go as its "supposed to" and his comedy basically comes from grounding and reacting to the other characters. The best example is Squidward from Spongebob, every time he's on screen it's to play the straightman to Spongebob and Patrick's more silly personalities.
