Have you take into account that in burning teams, with the right animation cancels, it is possible to reliably get 5 cannon shot, thus improving his DPS a lot ? The cancels avaliable to my knowledge are : 1) When you just fired a canon ball, use Ultimate : during this time burning stacks will triger and once out of burst a new canon ball is already ready. 2) Cancel shooting animation, by holding E for a short amount of time instead of tapping it, the shooting animation is canceled, by donig it 4 times, you can get the 5th cannon shoot. 3) Cancel the animation of Kinich ending his loop shoot. Basically, when he is gaining stacks at some point, when the bar is almost filled up, stoping doing loopshoots will enable skipping the animation of kinich ending loopshots. Canceling this is also enough to guaranty the 5th cannon shot.

Lynette's burst pyro infused is very nice. Taunts enemys (even larger bosses), her A4 buffs attack%, refreshes pyro application and cand use deepwood! Can be a good replacement for xiangling

12:33 Minor error here, C6 Thoma does not buff Kinich's normal attack damage (unless you're doing normals outside his E-state). His normals inside his E-state are considered Elemental skill damage (similar to how raiden's normals in her burst-state are all considered burst damage) additional nerdy information: 18:16 You couldn't get burgeon's in xingqiu+xiangling or yelan+xiangling cause you're applying too much pyro. When an enemy is burning, and when you apply hydro, you're consuming the pyro-aura first hence you can't react with the underlying dendro-aura to create bloom seeds. That's why you actually want slower pyro application e.g. thoma or dehya, this way you will not apply pyro as much. This is actually why burgeon is less popular than hyperbloom, it's much harder to create blooms cause of how the elemental-auras interact. BUT another way to counteract the pyro-aura is actually using other elements. Theory crafters actually have a name for this e.g. Curry: where you use electro to consume the pyro-aura hence creating more blooms (sample: thoma, fischl, nahida, xingqiu); oven: where you use cryo to consume the pyro aura also making you create more blooms (sample: thoma, kaeya, nahida, xingqiu)

i think we're gearing up for mavuika being a xiangling replacement w another type of strong buffing (ala bennett/attack, nahida/EM, furina/DMG%) and my theory/guess is she'll give an increase to the whole team crit DMG. a character that gives more significant buffs to crit DMG doesn't exist yet (to my memory), we have a few sources of crit rate buffing in kits via hu tao and rosaria (albeit fairly minor overall), a few cons, and now two artifact sets that give insane bumps to crit rate. i think mavuika will fall in line with the last 3 archons and make character building easier to balance, without making team building more constraining.

While Bennet was really good, I found that he still gave me the results I needed without him, and not worrying about circle impact was nice. I liked Kinich/Furina/Thoma/Baizu. I tried Xinqiu but he applies hydro too quickly, which while that's good for blooms to help Thoma's damage, it also gets in the way of the Burning in between Thoma's Burgeons, so my Nightsoul gauge gain took a hit. Having Baizu gave Dendro resonance for more EM for Thoma, healing for Furina, additional Dendro application, and he was my deepwood holder. I ran that comp because I don't have Emilie. I suspect a Kinich/Emilie/Mavuika (on cinder city artifact set) + 1 would go ignorant.

As someone who also doesn’t own Emilie, that team you described is my favorite team I’ve tried with Kinich too. Not sure if your Baizhu is using Thrilling Tales or not but I definitely recommend it for sure!

I own Emilie and I liked the Furina, Baizhu n Burgeon Thoma the most tbh. I prefer Emilie with Mualani to keep the Burning, so I can use both for Abyss. Plus my Furina is c2. It was weird he didn’t mention this team as it is one of his better imo

The team just heavily falls off as soon as you have a somewhat not horrible build on him, the better his damage is the better Bennett becomes and not using him is just shooting yourself in the foot unnecessarily, circle impact is a cheap excuse to not use him

This might be a meme, but Mualani with Scrolls Set and TTDS is kinda funny, because then you get the lower cooldown on the Nightsoul Burst which means more damage, and you get full buffs for Hydro, Dendro, and Pyro from scrolls. And she doesn’t apply much hydro outside of the small rotation and TTDS HP% secondary stat is not wasted on Mualani

my current team with him is Dehya, Emilie, Kinich, Baizhu. Dehya using deepwood, Emilie using 2pc 2pc atk% and golden troupe, Kinich using 2pc 2pc atk% (no good arifacts for the new set yet), and Baizhu using 2pc hp% and 2pc Healing bonus.

@@LumpySpaceNinja Yeah not using him because he’s not available is completely reasonable. I just have a problem with using circle impact as an excuse to forgo his attack buff. From a logical standpoint Bennett provides 1200 ATK+20% Noblesse, Baizhu frontloads a bit of damage bonus from Furina and gives 48% Atk from TTDS, as you can see this is quite the huge difference and circle impact simply isn’t an issue that justifies it. Not saying you can’t clear with it, but it’s just a damage downgrade which is why Jello and any other credible CC clarifies in their videos that if Bennett is available you should use him and some damage per screenshot you got with that team doesn’t really change that

High pyro application is useless. Burning doesn't actually consume any pyro. Why do you think dehya thoma are good? High pyro only matters if you want vape furina too. Jean just emphasises Bennett's circle impact issue. Oh yeah I'm sure the pyro application you meant is the Bennett jean combo because jean can't absorb any elements in the 1st place

Some things you missed I think! I wanted to see how mualani ttds scroll works with kinich because I feel team damage would be similar to using Bennett, because she also buffs Emilie, while getting rid of the circle altogether. Another thing i wanted to mention is the surprising amount of skill expression kinich actually has. If you've noticed you can hold aim e to shoot and its faster than pressing it if you do it quick (kind of like neuvillette charge attack cancel). Another thing is that if the enemy is burning, you can actually n1 and wait a little to get the cannon, it's actually faster than doing n2 e, increasing chances of getting the 5th! Last one is the one people know the most I think, burst extension, helps with gaining more points especially when enemy is burning because it'll give a ton more (around 14/20 for a cannon during burst animation). All this to say you really really want burning, I feel like burgeon is a ton less consistent. I'd generally say, if you utilize these techs, you'd get 5 cannons very very consistently in pure burning teams, which is why I prefer Emilie over Furina. Emilie helps with kinich er reqs, and also helps keep burning up. I feel they are around the same level assuming 4 hits and no tech. Saw some vids utilizing these tech with Emilie pure burn and 6 cannon shots per E is possible! You have to be really good at the techs, and maybe a little rng on the blindspots as well, but I'd like to mention these because I've seen almost no one talking about it.

I ran abyss with Kinich Thoma Dehya Venti and it worked really well! Easy 36 star, was hyped for the character and was really glad to see that he's still exceptionally strong even without any of the annoying pyro 4 stars like Xiangling or Bennett😀

My guess so far is that Mauvika will be either a Xiangling or Dehya upgrade, and Pyro MC will be a Bennett replacement/alternative. Even for an Archon combining Bennett and Xiangling into one character is just *too* powerful, it's like merging Godzilla and Mothra, the resulting abomination would be WAY too powerful, especially if you throw constellations into the mix and remove Xiangling/Bennett's drawbacks.

I run him with Nobless Bennett, Tenacity Dehya and Deepwood Thoma. Infinite buffs and protection. Eagerly waiting for Pyro archon and if she's a Pyro support running the Cinder City set, change Thoma with her and use Deepwood Dehya. Kinich already does huge damage I can't even imagine how good he will be after the release of Archon.

Ended up with a team of Kinich, Zhongli, Dehya and Baizhu. Using a combination of the buffs of Serpent Spine with the team's Tenacity of Millelith, Noblesse Oblige and Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (on Baizhu) and the shred of Zhongli's shield and the Deepwood Memories has made his damage so stupid high it's a blast (buh dum tsh) to play him. Probably sounds like a goofy team, but the rotation is stupid simple and the survivability is super comfy. Cleared full star cleared Spiral Abyss just fine too. 🙂👍

To me it makes sense that mauvika would buff kinich a bit more than she buffs mualani because xilonen will probably be insane for mualani but because she’s geo she won’t work that well with kinich, so kinich gets pyro applier + attack buffer, and mualani get’s pyro applier + damage buffer, which kinda evens it out a bit. Also if mauvika increased hp or dmg she could potentially buff neuvilette and I don’t think Genshin wants to buff him much so if she only does attack buff + pyro application she doesn’t work with neuvilette at all and he doesn’t get buffed by her. Also if mauvika does buff damage she’s competing with furina and I don’t think Genshin will make two archons do the exact same thing.

A "new Bennet" don't need to be pyro. May-be Iansan will be a "electro Bennet". any character could be. May-be Capitano will have a big ATK buff on his burst, and we will have the choice to play him just for this buff, or play him on-field, where he would buff himself.

I'm playing him a lot with, zhongli (with deepeood), Bennett and xianling. 36 star in the abyss without the last ascenssion, lvl 6 skill talent and using my fichl golden troupe set. Ultra comfy and strong enough. Kirara works pretty well in the place of zhongli for this team too.

Btw a great team for Kinich is hyper Kinich, u just use Benny with nobless, thoma with tenacity and dehya with deepwood. Even in this team Kinich has enough dps at lv 70 to clear the abyss. I know abyss buff is crazy, but my Kinich was lv 70 as well with 2pc 2pc artifacts not even 4pc codex, so pretty sure even without abyss buff a lv 90, 1-10-8 Kinich should be able to clear other iterations of abyss. When you said u left kinich's weapon at lv 70, I remember a joke "You left kinich's weapon at lv 70 while doing abyss, I left Kinich at lv 70 while doing the abyss, We are not same bro" 😂 Just a joke

The buff on abyss and single enemies make him look way better than he is - imagine 5 enemies you would need to tag all of them while mualani could just one shot them - mualani does miss 2 good buffers and xilonen might fix one spot and the other mavuika and that ll be best team in game - you already can buff kinnich with bennett ,furina ,yelan,baizhu nahida and he still just deals decent with all that

I thought burning DMG is effected by charcter level and EM with no crits? if you run xiangling, then would you do full EM build on her? why do i still read that you should build her on crit and pyro dmg?

The damage of burning is irrelevant, and even buffing it to the max will do low damage. Burning is just a condition to increase Kinich's (and aemilie's if you play her) damage.

Have you tried double dps yet? Maybe with Clorinde and two supports that have long/quick set up, such as Emilie and Thoma.

Why would you use 2 carry dps when both have already enough dmg alone?

Jello speculated in earlier videos that Natlan could make viable teams composed of two on-filed dps with short rotations each. I was following up on that now that we have 2 Natlan dps characters.

Kinichi's teams are _currently_ more functional than Mualani's, so he ends up being better in that regard... ...Both are a blast to traverse Natlan with, tho!

OK now that I've watched the video, yes I do have thoughts. I pulled C1R1 and am considering trying for C2 (if I lose I will save for Mavuika) 1. Super thankful his playable doesn't make me motion sick like I feared. 2. Love that he's not tied to Nahida so I can run traditional dendro on one side and him on the other. 3. I cannot escape BennyXl and now idk what to do for my Navia team. Overall, I love him. Super fun and it's so satisfying to see 400k+ from a dendro dps. Also, I did it! I got C6 Chev! I don't have Raiden so idk what I'll use her for but I got her! Lol.

you can use her with Fischl and Arlecchino. Arle performs better with Fischl than with Raiden for her overload team.

How should you be building Dehya in Kinich teams? Just stacking HP or burgeon?

for bennett buff you can check if kinich has pyro self aura, thats a pretty good indicator to know if bennett buff is applied. also why is noone(other ccs as well) using emilie burst inside of bennett burst, i think i saw someone saying since bennett buff lingers it buffs emilies whole burst dmg. instead of snapshotting XL buffing emilies burst seems better but idk.

u should try lynette as a off field pyro instead of xiangling

I just use Kinich/Furina/Baizhu/Thoma for comfort - I would never use Bennet as the sole healer on a Furina team lol. Baizhu can also buff burning and burgeon a little bit, and if you give him the ash-graven horn event weapon he will do some damage during the rotation, although I guess giving him thrilling tales is also an option so he can buff attack as well for Kinich. Kinda surprised this wasnt on the test list tbh I do use a Kinich and Bennet team, just not for most gameplay because it is heavily burst reliant and I dont want to use Furina on those teams, and her damage contribution makes the game a lot more casual. When Mavuika releases I'd also use her there instead of Thoma if she has off field pyro like people think she might.

Ive actually been using one of the weird ones you couldnt run (kinich yelan xiangling Bennett) and it's a bit of a pain. No emilie, no nahida, nothing like that to enable him dendro wise so im kinda forced into burgeon with like an xq/yelan. Any tips on how i could improve it?

Kinich is so fun and I appreciate an easy abyss. I got all stars up to 11-3 with a Lv. 3 skill Lv. 70 Kinich lol. mid build with no Obsidian Codex! I highly recommend him
