One of my favorites of his. I prefer this one over the new version where someone else sings the second verse.

I agree too. Have a feeling that was just a way for the mainstream industry to squeeze some money out of him.

Same here. This version is much more powerful. ❤

That immediate head shake of disbelief when he hits ya with those first few notes, I feel ya, gets me every time. This is a great vid Brandon. I love what you said about having an arsenal of music ❤❤

The first time i heard this song was while my big 300+lb 27 year old son just had his intestine ruptured and he spent 2 weeks in the hospital and came home with a colostomy bag hanging off his stomach. I could relate to how my son was feeling at the time, damaged beyond control. Thank God he is all better now but he was out of commission for 7 months.

Love this song, nothing more to say about the song. The whole time, I was waiting for you to say,"Why's he looking at me like that?" 🤣 Much ❤ from Tennessee 🇺🇲

Love Jelly Roll. Not sure if you have seen the video of Jelly addressing Congress or the Senate (I forget which one,) about the fentanyl crisis. If not, you might want to check it out. This video was a live version. This song hits me in my soul. My other faves from Jelly are: Wheels Fall Off, Fall in the Fall, The Bottom, Glitter, Creature, and Only & Love the Heartless Live. These are all songs that came out before he was signed and they are less country than his current stuff. The last one is from the same live session as the one you are currently reacting to. The others are all Jelly rapping and singing. Creature fts Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko. Glitter and Fall in the Fall are Jelly Roll and Struggle Jennings. Just in case you wanted some more songs to react to or even listen to on your own. ❤

That's what happens when an independent signs. They can do anything with your art because it belongs to them. Sad.
