That’s what I thought as well! In real life, there are different types of bears, so perhaps this applies here as well? TC and his gang are cats, but they look more like small house cats, while Snagglepuss and Jinx look more like big wild cats. They’re all felines, just different kinds, much like there is in real life.

So he’s probably a house/domestic cat like TC and his gang, just a bigger one. Snagglepuss is said to be a mountain lion, so he’d definitely be bigger than all of them. The King is a regular lion, so he’s probably Snag’s size, same could be said about Lippy.

As much I was happy they got to appear in Jellystone I was slightly disappointed they become killer Animatronics and with the Cattanooga Cats Animatronics and restaurant destroyed at the end of the episode it kind of makes them unlikely to appear again, but who knows if we do see the real versions of them they could be like an actual band on Tour and visit Jellystone as part of a concert.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but according to TVTropes the show runners say the Catanooga Cats don't exist in this canon/universe, so they're just animatronic mascots. Still it's nice to see them get regard, even in a satirical way.

I can (probably) understand why, seeing how Yogi is a bit of a jerk in this one What I find amusing is that even though it's implied that Yogi is the main character in Jellystone! (like in Yogi's gang and Yogi's treasure hunt), the ones that are more popular with the fans are Auggie and Doggie Daddy, El Kabong, Huckleberry and Mr. Jinks, Loopy de Loop and Top Cat and his gang
