One edit: Netflix is no longer using nodejs, the have shifted to spring boot because of performance reasons.

A very interesting point is: Nodejs is both frontend and backend.

The only thing why nodejs for me is because i can host next js with vercel free with custom domain else f* node js having new breaking changes every week

It doesn't make much sense to compare a language with a framework, normally it would be Django vs nestJS or AdonisJS, it's not a fair comparison at all... a framework is limited in scope while a language is much broader.

I'm actually wondering why some developers say Django is slow. I understand that built-in ORM slows overall performance regarding working with database => sending response consequently. But how Instagram or KZbin is almost instaneneous on the other hand?

If you get lost in false assumptions, you make false statements.. django is a python Framework.. nodejs is a JavaScript runtime.. NOT a Framework. You need to stop comparing cars with apple trees. Or in worst scenario, if you haven’t understand the difference between a runtime and a framework.. maybe stop comparing anyways.
