11:54 that's pretty neat, I ended up doing pretty much the exact same pipe system for my encoders as well. Pipes come from the top, middle two belts get splitters, and the corner input gets an elevator straight down.

i hate/love pipes for the same reason. When i finally fixed something that haunted me the last 100 hrs, it's a wonderful sensation that i will never want to feel ever again.

Thanks Jace, your tip with the fluids will come in handy some time. I don't like it always sloshing around. Had to use a valve after almost every fuel generator. Otherwise about a fifth did not get enough fuel and I don't know where the juice went.

Making a VIP junction on my aluminum set up changed my life. Zero issues what so ever for water backing up when recycling it. You could have a 600 water line coming in when all you needed was 10 water and it would never ever ever back up if done properly. VIP junctions took away any fear I have of aluminum set ups what so ever.

I feel like pipes just work to a certain mentality or something. I had some issues when I first started but it clicked pretty fast and I haven't had flow issues in many hundreds of hours of playing since. Oddly counter to what I hear so often, it does just feel intuitive to me. Just to be clear, not saying I'm super smart or others are wrong when they struggle at all, they obviously cause headaches for seemingly most players. I just find it interesting that for me they make perfect sense.
