Love the simplicity of Daniel’s set up - main sound of just a drive, delay and a reverb (maybe a compressor), love it!

This is a very interesting interview and I'd like to see more like this! A note to the interviewer: please take a lesson from Rick Beato. When he interviews people, he doesn't interrupt, he just lets them talk. Your audience isn't interested in what you know or what you can do; your audience wants to hear what the subject person has to say.

I don’t know, I really actually his input and thought he did a great job bantering back and forth talking shop. I guess it just depends on who you ask - I thought the interviewer was just as interesting as Danny.

Ayyyy! Love the enthusiasm and Daniel is a great dude! BTW, that white box is the prototype of the WRLS that takes the signal from a wireless receiver, Side A converts it from balanced line to unbalanced instrument level then sends the signal thru Daniel's acoustic signal chain, then the other side converts it from unbalanced to balanced XLR to travel back to the stage box. Daniel also uses our TXRX-S system when the amps are off-stage.

Had the privilege of meeting Daniel many years ago in concert. He is the nicest down to earth guy I've ever met. Showed me his pedal setup at the time. In his career with Chris his sound, tone and creative worship riffs have influenced generations of worship guitar players.

Awesome I didnt realize Jimmy was teching for Tomlin and Daniel. Jimmy used to be my best friends guitar teacher back in the day. He played with Spur 58 for a while as well. Miss hearing his playing. Great vid. Love Daniels tones.

Hey Jem! Thanks for sharing this. Daniel Carson is awesome! The way he plays enhances each song so much - imo, that's the mark of a great guitar player and great musician. Serve the song first and foremost. 🙂

Thanks for the video, Jem! Daniel has always been one of my biggest guitar inspirations....saw him playing at Passion AGES ago and blew me away. I basically copied his board at the time with stuff like a Diamond Comp, FD2, DD5, Echo Park, RV5...I've since moved to a much more complicated and "involved" rig but I still hold that was some of the best tones I ever had. I often think of dialing it back to a similar setup...

Was convince to get a comp and a fulldrive cause of Daniel. I know a lot of other worship electric guitarist run a full-drive as well. Ive had it on my pedalboard since i got it. Just the most reliable drive ive used.

I got to meet Daniel a few months ago for about 30 seconds before they went on, and he was super nice! Glad you got to go more in depth and talk about the gear! I was doing some photography and for some reason Dan ended up being the subject if most of them - what can I say, I'm a guitar player lol!

Awesome video. Thanks brother. I'm always looking for tips from veterans. Things I can learn that it took them years to figure out. Actually watched a couple of Daniels guitar tutorials this week for Christmas songs lol. First time I've known about him. Funny you should have him on. I really love his guitar style. Lots of times I can record our services or go back and watch the live feeds and the guitar sounds kind of quiet. But when we are playing I can hear it in the room pretty good. I wonder why that is. The live is a different mix than we have in a house.

Saw Tomlin last night in Mpls. - he had a guitarist he called “Casey” - is Danial not on the current tour? “Casey” had two Badcat amp heads on stage, with a small cab on top of the rack case.

Yep! They sometimes sound better there because the OD tone is blended into something special rather than the clean tone being completely effected by the POG at first. If that makes sense ❤ Either way, bith ways are nice. Just personal taste in the end. 😊
