Costa Maya Mexico | Majesty of the seas | 2019

Last international excursion! We have been to Costa Maya before but never left the port. This time we venture out beyond the gates to see what kind of shenanigans we can get into! We enjoy some refreshing beer and tasty tacos while taking in the beauty of the Caribbean!

A wonderful Jem travel location and a beautiful beach to visit, we are also terrible at haggling and always pay full price then justify saying that we are helping the locals. As for the massage on the beach, Melissa and I are all in favour and have one every three to four days, my personal favourite is oily knuckles all over my head. Very relaxing! The food looked good and you had me at beers! Looking forward to more of this Mexican adventure and thank you kindly for sharing.

Yes, but would you have a massage on the beach in front of everyone? Sadly, this is our last Mexican adventure for this trip. We are headed back to Ft Lauderdale after this.

@@JEMSessionz Yes on a beach and usually with my headphones on, I have no shame! Melissa is the same but Jane feels uncomfortable but will have her feet done. The Mexican adventure did look fun and ft Lauderdale sounds amazing! Take care and have a lovely weekend.

Great video! We were in Costa Maya a year ago (and in a month from now) and there's a place called Costa Maya Beach Resort that's like an all-inclusive natural beach club about 30 (very rough and bumpy) mins south of the port. They have free transportation from outside the port though. Awesome place/people/food.

​@@JEMSessionz I guess by "free" I should mention that it's like $60 per person but that includes food, drinks (alcohol included), kayaks, snorkeling, AND the transportation :) Look up Maya Chan Beach the next time you are down there (had the wrong name on my last comment). They only deal with cruise passengers too so they will hunt you down 2 hours before your ship leaves to get you in the shuttle, justtt in case. It's definitely worth checking out.

When we went to Cozumel a few years ago me and Brenden decided to explore a little and make our own excursion. We grabbed a local cab and went to a beach a few miles away from the port. It was an awesome experience other than the horrifying cab ride lol. They drive insane!!! Thought we were going to die a couple of times. So what exactly made you feel like you got ripped off? Was it the cab ride or something that happened at the beach?

We edited out the whole rant about the restaurant. The bill should have been one price, but they charged me something else. Then after I got my credit card back, the bill was higher again! So that’s why I felt ripped off. The food was still good, but I don’t like feeling like someone is trying to get one over just because I’m a tourist. I would go back, I would just pay cash as I went

Our bill should have been like 38, then we get the bill it was 42. When we got it back it was then 56. Every time the guy touched it, it went up
