Lake Tahoe? I've been up there. They get tons of snow in the winter, sometimes several feet on one occassion. 18 feet annual snowfall. Some places 25 to 40 feet. My friend said they got so much snow one time it buried the first floor and had to get out of the house by a second floor window. Yeah, like that.
