I came back to Your films lately Piotrek and I imagine a young boy in 60s running with free flight model Jena powered, trying to fire it up, launch and watching where it goes :-) Now this Jena is in Your hands, could not have been better... What a nostalgic times...

Nice to see it bring memories back Marcin!!.. I am sure, a lot boys in Poland in the 1960 did use them..and the Jaskolkas..and have so fantastic times...I have also some memories...LOL..remember once with a good friend we build a Bi plane...just out of balsa .We use a Cox engine...I think with a Peewee 030 engine.. the glue was not even dry..and we let it free fly....it took circles... up..and up..higher and higher.. in the middle of the town...and suddenly it go down..engine full roar..like a Stuka!!..it crashed of course.. but engine survive!! ;-).. we did crazy things!!!

Good to see someone with a passion for these fine old engines. I have recently obtained a 'Black Head' JENA motor, a Glow Plug version, sadly it is missing it's carburettor. Any leads on obtaining a carburettor would be appreciated.

Ho John. Many thanks for the kind words...What exact parts do you need? A C/L carb or an R/C ? Kind regards from the Netherlands.
@Huckebein24 ай бұрын
@@valic000 R/C would be good. I see that the Carburettor mounting on the crank case is threaded.

Hello do you have a spare crankshaft for a DC sabre engine?thank you
@valic0002 жыл бұрын
Hi Cristian. I am sorry, I have no spare shaft left. But on Ebay, a donor engine would be not expensive so you can use that for spare parts. A run down Sabre in poor condition will be cheap... Good luck, if I see one, I let you know!

I have one engine in my microcollection. Unfortunately, it has an incomplete fire extinguisher. Somehow the performance is impressive.
@valic0006 жыл бұрын
