I have the YSL and I love it!! The shimmers are so beautiful! The pallette has warm and cool tones and some neutral so I think it gives you variety while being a pinky red pallette

Hello, great ranking. So happy to see Cinnamon swirl so high up in your ranking. I really like the Dior quints too and just fell in love with Rose quartz. The large number of shades in the PM palette puts me off buying it. Love your look but I wouldn’t know how to use it.

Of these I picked the tarte full bloom as my favorite all inclusive everyday palette of the year and the midi retro has been a constant pick for this fall and winter I even used it with a couple of the mattes from the glam face palette today as I did my makeup to go to our family thanksgiving lunch

I'm not a Wayne Goss die-hard at all, and we all have unique taste & experience. The 1st pallette is the only 1 I have and the formula is so smoothing on my eyelids. I really think it's beautiful, & it builds depending on your taste/preference, and enhances your natural beauty. Sort of like BK's True Beauty. Exactly, I believe, the goal from these brands. The rust shade in the Topaz palette is 1 of my favorites. I can still appreciate other opinions and wanted to share mine. I think his formula is lovely, great for enhancing what you have. His lipsticks are so flattering & beautiful as well.

Jena, quoted directly from Gucci: ‘An eyeshadow refill tray will be available soon for the Beauté Des Yeux Floral palette. Thanks to a removable tray, the palette becomes a keepsake in itself and can be used as a new object of beauty, such as a jewelry box.’ They are attempting to make all of their products refillable over time, which I appreciate. Hope that helps!😉 P.S. As an artist myself, to my eye that shade in Metropolis mini is a shade of Teal -Teal is a deep blue-green color; a dark cyan. Teal gets its name from the colored area around the eyes of the common teal, a member of the duck family.

I really loved this review Jenna. It was so entertaining. THANK YOU! I got some of the reviewed palettes (Natasha+PMG) and am very happy with them. Another really great Holiday release is the one from Viseart with the 4 "Petit Four" palettes in the Jazz age packaging and color stories. Just marvelous and very reasonable in price for the amount you get (each pan has 1.5 grams, wheras the Chanel Holiday "No.5" quad has 1.2g for all 4 pans).

Absolutely no need to be overwhelmed. Just (1) know your skin tone and undertone, (2) learn about the usual formulations of brands and their consistency in quality (I myself will go to stores to try them on whenever I am interested in a brand or products, or order something online from those brands which do not have stores in your country), and (3) your budget. This will narrow your choices a lot.

If you have issues with multichromes fadinh or creasing, try using nyx glitter primer or fyrinnae pixie epoxy. I always use one or the other when using multichrome eyeshadow. I haven’t tried danessa myricks because I feel like I have all of those shades through Clionadh and Devinah brands.

The Gucci palette is divided in to three quads if you approach it like that it is more versatile. I wonder if the palette tray is removable so that future palettes can be inserted?
