What an inspiring story! I remember my journey to becoming a Flight Attendant and here I am, 8 years later, still enjoying it and think I’ve made the best decision, leaving the medical field! Now, if AA will start flying to the PI, it would be perfect!! I am so proud to be Filipino and very blessed to have this job!

Being a cabin crew was one of my fascination when I was in Highschool. I tried to apply last 2015 in Philippine airlines but I was rejected. Fast forward 2022 I am now working as an Emergency Room nurse here in Saudi Arabia. I am now 35 years old but my desire to be a cabin Crew is still there. I hope I still have the time to follow my dream soon. In God's time.

When I was younger I've also wanted to be a cabin crew. Two of my friends are with Qatar Airways for almost 10 years already and they have been very inspiring. I can relate when you said "You are at your happiest when you are travelling" I've been out of the country more than 10 times and I can say no other things can give me satisfaction as much as travelling gives me. But recently I came to a realization that, I might not enjoy travelling as much as I do if I do it everyday, or If I do it for a living. I realized I wanted to have something I will always look forward to outside of work. And I think I wont be able to stand seeing people (passengers) everyday all geared up for a vacation, while I am wearing a uniform and working. Plus after multiple bumpy flights to Singapore, I started to become a nervous flyer. But still my respect and admiratio to all the cabin crews out there!

Since I was 5 years old, my dream is to become a FA. Right now, I’m a senior high student and when I decided to be a ABM student, I said that I will become a FA, but my life rn is all about being practical. That’s why I decided that I will pursue being an Accountant. Future vs. Dream. I just happen to stumble upon this video while taking a break from work. Watching this while in the midst of my shift. I am a call center agent too, but ever since I was a child, I have always dreamt of becoming a Flight Attendant. It has always been my dream. I got pregnant so I need to postpone my studies. I was a Tourism Management student. And now watching this video of ate Jen lit up that burning desire to continue reaching for that long-time dream of mine again. To be honest, I am slowly losing hope if I will ever become a Flight Attendant because I need to set my young one’s priorities first before mine. My salary mostly spent for my baby’s needs. And somehow, knowing ate Jen’s success story inspired me to work on that dream again. Especially now that I have a little one who inspires me the most. I will continue praying for God’s will. I know I am in this situation for a purpose. Why my dream is put on hold. I know that, just like what ate Jen said, God is working in the background. 🙏🏻❤️ (Not to be defensive but I know some people would say “yan kasi nagbuntis nang maaga”. Well, I felt regret at first, yeah. I was a Toursim student in a prestigious and well-known college yet I threw that opportunity away. But I have never been this inspired to work hard in life until I had my baby. My pregnancy might have put me on break but I know for sure it was a blessing in disguise ❤️)

Still in Day 7 Kani ang first ever vlog na nakita nako sa imo channel kay kani ang girecommend ni KZbin. And kani ang one of my favorite vlogs nimo. The first time that I watched it kay naghilak jud ko kay karelate ko sa uban nimo na struggle (work related). I remembered watching it last December 26. Hi Jen! I’m so inspired by this story that I end up subscribing after seeing several videos of yours. I can definitely relate to your experience. I truly admire your courage to step out from your comfort zone. I as well am scared of chasing my own happines over whats practical as I as well am the breadwinner. I still haven’t found my missing piece and still holding on to my first ever job in BPO company, my comfort zone. My insecurity, doubts, fear is really blocking me. I hope to find the same amount of courage as yours...I want to grow and explore more in a broad daylight (the day that i rarely see or experience bec I have to be asleep) and in different places and interacting to different people than I used to be with these past 4 yrs... I want so many things..I know I have more potentials than I have right now that are still hibernating. Sometimes..no..most of the times I really tend to get sentimental and get attached to things for so long that I often forget about myself. Teach me how to find courage to let go...(this is the longest comment that I’ve ever written my whole life I can’t believe I just did. I am currently working in BPO, and this video really inspires me not because of liking an FA job but because of finding the dream job. FA is really not my dream even a call center agent and because of this video I thought that I should prepare myself on getting the job that I would really love and have the courage to step out of my comfort zone.
