For the people who don't get it Ultra instinct was achieved by goku as a replacement energy resource for his depleted body. Being drained out from fighting such as the fight with Jiren made Goku's body remember the energy he had engulfed by the spirit bomb. The difference from then in now is that it's fully his power and not the heat from the spirit bomb.

For those struggling to swallow the Kefla pill... Kale is technically the legendary Super Saiyan, hence why it's green. It's a mutation and at no point did we ever determine what exactly that means, apparently that form can rival gods in the right hands. Kale isn't much of a fighter but she has a unique form that brings her up, then you have Caulifla who is clearly Goku's universe 6 counterpart cause she's a prodigy. Mix a fighter with general prodigy potential with a mutated Super Saiyan form and you end up with a fusion of epic proportions. I wouldn't exactly call it good writing but we just gotta live with it. Also, kale and cauliflower are considered "super foods" so it's very clear what Toriyama is going for here. It's hardly the first time DB in general has made an ass pull, won't be the last. Loved the episode regardless.

Kefla will defuse when she tries to go LSSJ2 or 3. I think Goku will carry Caulifla off the ring, to prevent others doing that instead. He knows she can't recover in time. She will make him promise to bring her back if Universe 6 gets erased. Will be a very cute scene.

I loved that The Supreme Kai wanted Beerus to give the POTARAS to 17 and 18 so they can fuse!! However, when they were talking about if the two androids fuse, they will have less people on their team (there are 7 people on their team so if they fuse, there will be 6 people left on their team). BUT if you remember back in the Future Trunks saga when Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks we're fighting Zamasu, the POTARA fusion only lasts 1 hour if the two people using it aren't Supreme Kais so if 17 and 18 fuse, even if the number of teamates of Universe 7 decrease for the moment, when 1 hour passes by, they will separate into themselves and they will have 7 people on their team again. As we all know in the end of the episode, there are only 19 minutes left of the tournament so Kale and Caulifla will still be fused by the end of the tournament.

This episode stated that if Goku wasn't exhausted from his fight with Jiren, he'd be able to beat Kefla in his SSBlue. UI is not needed. You can see UI Goku in the preview toying with Kefla. Also, Goku was not x10 or x20 Kaioken. Potara is WAY above 10x stronger. SSJ is 50x, SSJ2 is 100x and SSJ3 400x base form. So Potara fusion has to be WAY above that to be able to overpower SSG Goku who's MUCH above SSJ3. Piccolo wasn't surprised, he said "Of course".

According to toei in Gt Perfect files it was stated that Ssj4 Gogeta is Dozens of times of stronger than Ssj4 Goku and Ssj4 Vegeta combined. Of course we don't know what they mean by dozens but we can highball it and say 12 x 12 = 144. This means Fusion Dance is A > B (Bx2)x144. And be you say that Gt is not canon remember that Gogeta is also non-canon. And for Potara fusion it was stated in Super Exciting Guide that it is simply A x B. You must be questioning what is Super Exciting Guide. Well SEG is the guide that give us Ssj multipliers (ssj = 50, ssj2 = 100, ssj3 = 400) Lets take a Example. Lets say Goku and Vegeta on namek decided to fuse. But first thier pl were 3,000,000 for Goku and 2,400,000 for Vegeta. And yes these are official. Fusion Dance A > B (B*2)*144 3,000,000 > 2,400,000 (2,400,000*2)*144 = 691,200,000 So Gogeta on namek would have a Power level of 691.2 million. Potara Fusion A x B 3,000,000 x 2,400,000 = 720,000,000,000 So Vegito's Power level is 720 Billion. This means Vegito is atleast 1041.67 times stronger than Gogeta.

EP 115 Thoughts Decent episode the fight between Goku and Kefla started off slow,but once Goku went Blue and Kefla went SSJ. It was intense. Good fighting sequence. In between the fight showing us how the others are currently doing was good. That way you don't have the entire episode be all about the fight itself. Funny scene when Kefla ran right through the 2 guys from Ribrianne's universe. For a minute there i was worried we got to see Fusions Left and right. Thank god they did not go through with that. As expected. Potara is alowed. As long as Zeno loves it. You are in the clear. Mixed feelings about that end scene. Was not a big fan of the Ultra Instinct

let us not forget that the reason Caulifla & Kale were able to bring out that Ulta-Instinct yet again on Goku is that you are forgetting who Goku is... he is a guy who grows and adapts to any fight he is faced with. the fight with Beerus; Yes Goku needed help to obtain Super Saiyan God....side note if you watch Battle of the Gods you should know what i mean. after Goku was fighting Beerus he lost his God form but with Gokus strange ability to adapt Goku was able to fight Beerus in his base form, that was bc Goku has gotten stronger....this also makes sense why Fusion or not Goku was able to hold his own when fighting the fusion Cailifla & Kale.

Long time off of when this came out, but I’ve analyzed the SHIT out of UI. Basically UI activates when Goku is exhausted, is in presence of an enormous power, is completely desperate to survive, and has managed to relax his body despite the circumstances. (And be a master martial artist) Then he gets to Beerus level of strength, who has omen like Goku. Those circumstances are practically impossible to line up, but the tournament is the ideal way to expose them all at once.

Kefla was be able to draw Goku's Ultra Instinct, because Goku has not as much Stamina left as when he fought Jiren. She probably won't be able to pull this out if he was fully recovered... -,-' And by the way, Ultra Instict is something which is supposed to taught to the gods, so it's hard to master and that is why Beerus felt that threat / thrill. Do more research on how powerful fusion is. You keep saying how is she this strong well I'll tell U. First off both kale and caulifla are prodigy saiyans okay but not just that but kale is a legendary saiyan. So just kale in berserk saiyan mode is on par with goku in ssjb form okay. Now caulifla is on par with goku on ssj2 form. So now when you use fusion you combine your powers then you add on 10x more on top of that combined power even vados reveals in episode 114. So it's no surprise that goku ssjb kaio is no match for ssj kefla so he had to take it a step higher. You have to pay attention or else you won't know how things are happening.

It is only me or the Tournament of Power arc may have a rather big issue from a narrative perspective, considering that there is still more than a third yet to go? We know that fom U11 Jiren is incredibly broken and Toppo is also at least as powerful as SSJB. The sayan girls from U6 get power up after power up and now their fusion Kefla is pretty OP. It sounds like a bunch of incredilbe opponents, doesn't it? On the other hand, U7 has still Goku (main character, awakened Ultra Instinct), Vegeta (SSJB - possibly has not shown 100% of his current potential), Frieza (mastered golden form), Gohan (his ultimate form was allowing to fight with SSJB Goku and Golden Frieza, although they were holding back), Android 17 (who so far has wiped the floor with every opponent and performed well in his sparring match with Goku). What I mean is that, unless the other universes come up with something crazy (U4 invisible fighters, U3 robots combining Transformers style, whatever else), the advantage that U7 has over all the others seems to be way to great to feel any uncertainty about the result.

Ultra Instinct only comes back when Goku's at the brink of death or loss. He then on his last resort the body unconsciously becomes ultra instinct hence instinct in the technique. When he is nearly done it triggers this and that's how he becomes now. He has not full control of it and it is a last resort, which means he is not even at full power when using it. We will see the true Ultra Instinct when he can do it like his other form, or when he uses super saiyan on top of this and he controls the heat he emits which is that blue Aura.

I don’t get why people are comparing gotenks to kefla. I do agree that kefla get asspul powers but she is way stronger than gotenks, he couldn’t even damage vegeta base form after the universe 6 arc so he weak af. And beerus only said you have to finish this in one shot because goku have really low stamina and using the kaioken with blue really puts a strain to your body especially the damaged state goku is in. Goku could of probably won in blue form if he started out with full stamina and power like kefla did even vados states this.

not really.... u6 saiyans in base form are on equal terms with goku and vegeta's base form... as stated by vegeta to cabba.. all 5 of them.. their base forms are stronger then dbz series's vegito.. the buu's and ss3 goku.. u cant suggest that a u6 saiyan with a base that strong has to struggle to achieve what a weaker goku did in the frieza arch the cell arch and the buu arch... they are well beyond the base power of the dbz series to easily master the techniques.. xb

I was disappointed and about to quit dbs because of this Kefla character, I was expecting for Goku to knock her out as ssj2, they made her too strong it's ridiculous, but then they surprised me with the ultra instinct I didn't expect him to do it in this episode, that was the most exciting part of the episode.

Well the reason goku reached ultra instincts again was because kefla is worthy opponent who kicked him so badly that it was so hard for him to break his shell again and reach that form. In my opinion jiren will confront goku again as we can see in preview and only that will be the only reason for kefla to survive this battle and not to lose right now. And goku will leave kefla to fight jiren.and kefla might be engaged in fight with freeza

No kalfa is just as strong as SSB KaioKen Fist. She knock him out in 2 hits because he was at his limit, His atks was strong but defense is weak. It's not, she is strong enough to make Goku turn UI.
