Our scores: Me: 7 Diya: 7 Kelsey: 7 Owen: 7 28/40 I was shocked to see Jenn so far down the leaderboard, in my mind she’s one of the top 4 best dancers this season! I think it’s crazy that Carrie Ann gave her the same score she gave Eric and Reginald. Obviously she couldn’t hear the music at the beginning and that did throw her off, Id love if she could work on her frame and posture a little, but I think this was actually one of the stronger dances of the night and she’s got so much potential.

Considering she doesn't have any real dance experience (took a 1 credit ballroom class in college, which I did as well, and I tell you, it's a joke), I thought her growth from week 1 to week 2 was INCREDIBLE! She really owned it, especially if you took in the fact she had no music at the beginning of the dance and basically had to sing the song herself to keep in time. And that 1 hand flip...I did cartwheels as a kid, but even in my prime, I wouldn't have done it. She's a champ!

I think this song would fit better with a charleston over a tango. but Jenn had a lot of good energy and movement around the floor also frame wasnt terrible. I think she did better dance wise this week so i hope she continues to improve and grow in this competition.

Anna wasn't as good as Jenn, and also got 2 6's, plus I feel that Jenn also danced much better than Brooks still. I wish they didn’t have trained / professional dance contestants competing with contestants like Jen who have no training . Jen is doing amazing and her scores should be reflected of her growth . Last week she should have scored 7s and 8s the way her dance started off without her being able to hear the music . 🎶

@cafemisto ​​⁠It goes both ways, you need a seasoned pro to put in the work and you need an open-minded celeb to work towards improving which you can see Jenn clearly trying to do. Dwight and Daniella for example are both putting in the work and because of her ability to choreograph a dance that highlights his versatility they play off one another quite well. But for someone like Ezra and Anna, where the effort is completely one-sided it becomes much more difficult to progress through the competition. In this case, I think Sasha is great but that he doesn’t really create choreography that compliments his partners.

I never said Sasha is an elite choreographer. Having the partners he’s had - Simone & Suni - and still not having a mirrorball is a definite indication of something he needs to work on.

The Quickstep would've been a better choice, it's much more fitting to the 20s style of dancing, and the tango just does not bring the energy needed for it to be spectacular. She did AMAZING, that was just the WRONG dance for that song.

That's not her or Sasha's fault, though. The songs and type of dances are provided to the pros and they have to work with what they got, which is why he had to choreograph a tango for a song that wasn't remotely tango.

@@MagicMac100 Scores were not justified. Superman and Joey got higher points when one is a stomper and the other was stiff. Jenn was doing a 1 hand cartwheel and had no music at the beginning of her dance. She did as much work as her partner, unlike other dancers.

It’s honestly not tho. Jenn needs to refine a lot more and yes the flip was amazing but in a traditional tango, it’s a no no. Yes, Sasha still held on to Jenn and the hand connection was still there but I think the rules of the dance were more at play here. Also, they expect more from Jenn because her dance potential is higher so I feel like they judge her harder like Chandler and Dwight.
