LA is such a foodies paradise with its extreme diversity of population. Unfortunately I live in Nashville where the dim selections are gosh awful. If I were a younger man I'd start a "real" dim sum and noodle place for people to enjoy. Thanks for the video Jenn and sharing your wonderful family.

The word dim sum was so foreign to me for soooooo long. We would just say “yum cha” and explaining it was even more work. I’m so glad that something so special to us is being enjoyed.

Growing up in LA, I cannot reminisce about my childhood without remembering the many times I had Dimsum in Chinatown with my family. Til this day, it is still one of my favorite things to eat.

Yum cha means to "drink tea" which is accompanied with a small portion meal (similar to tapas or finger sandwiches)
