Lol I love how salty Jenna is when Savannah calls her a work friend. That seems like something I would do

Jenna brings up the "work friend" thing a lot. It hurt her and she's holding on to it. She needs to drop it. You can tell how quickly Savannah jumps to explain it. That little church story brought me to tears! Jenna needs to internalize it and lay off Savannah! Savannah really is the epitome of her story! I can see every time I see her on TV how genuine she is!! Or tries/wants to be hahah!! I regret that I didn't watch this when it was on. I don't plan on watching it in the future either but they are interesting to watch together.

I totally agree with how hard it is to make new friends. My friends have no interest in doing fun things anymore, doing mini vacays or just hanging out. Its definitely time to meet new people, but I have to admit the people I meet through everyday life seem to have no interest in just hanging out, its so weird. Times have definitely changed, people are just too consumed with being at home and watching tv and going online. ughhh, internet killed my social life.

Its so incredibly hard, I feel like we need one another, But I find women my age seem to have no interest in socializing anymore. I kind of feel like its a North American thing, whenever I travel around the world, I see women of all ages socializing and spending time with one another, but here its so completely different.

I moved to France almost 2 years ago. I am not working and my only child is 25 and living in the US. It has been difficult to meet people and make friends here. Most expats in my city are younger-like the age of my son. Also, French women do not chitchat like American women. My French gets me by in stores but it's not at the level to have really good small talk without thinking about it. Moving to a new place can be quite exciting but it can also be a little lonely.

Shop around for a female French tutor you like who is around your age and build a relationship with her as she helps you get better at the language. Then she can hopefully introduce you to some other women in the area, or at the very least you'll be able to communicate better and make some friendships on your own. The French are notoriously difficult to make friends with, so if there are other Europeans in the area (hopefully from countries that teach English better eg Belgium, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries), you should try to make friends with them. They tend to be much more welcoming than the French and can probably introduce you to some of their friends. It can take a little effort, but you actually do make friends with a French person, they will be a friend for life.

I can definitely relate. Im in a new city as well and have zero friends, not for lack of trying. It just seems that people have no interest in just getting together and having a few laughs and enjoying each others company anymore.

I don't know u but I can say that those women have saved u from turmoil down the road. They r NOT the "end all be all". Far from it I do know how disappointing their attitude must be but it says more about them and their insecurities than you. Your true friends r out there. You'll see.😍 It just takes time.

I hope you know, this not only happened to you. I find that soo very sad. Robyn said everything I felt. Im sure you KNOW that, but it doesnt always help feelings that are hurt. That stinks- and Im sorry. But remember you've been blessed along with your child ;) Im sure, if you havent already, will find a TRUE mom friend/s. 😉 Hang in there! xx

So I couldn't agree with them more and generally do not watch shows on NBC mainly because of their newscasting but I gave away a couch over the weekend perfectly good sleeper cat probably only been set on maybe 10 times total slept on twice but I needed something smaller I'm in a smaller space I needed more of a loveseat so it was a very nice couch I gave it away for free because I needed it gone more than I needed a little extra money so the lady I gave it to was lovely she was so appreciative and and that was all good but Sunday morning someone sent me a text message wanting to know if the catch was still available now I posted it Friday night and it was gone probably within an hour of the posting and I said oh no I'm sorry but that was picked up within an hour after I posted it Friday night and she said well okay thank you I said well you're welcome I said and by the way I said Happy Mother's Day and she went oh my gosh my kids haven't even said that to me yet and I thought well that was such a generous thing for her to say and it didn't hurt me one bit to wish her a happy Mother's Day and she just went on and on like it was totally something special and unexpected when I feel like it shouldn't have been it I mean yeah maybe you don't want come to every stranger on the street and say something like that however it shouldn't have been such a big deal because it was just simple courtesy but you know most of us have kind of Forgotten what that even is and to me that is truly sad
