I guess because in real life, everyone is kind of afraid, or at least politely distrustful of HRs. They are not there for you as an employee, but to prevent any potentional trouble to the company. Hence, the name - you are a resource. Michael treats his HR the way many of us would love to treat ours :)

Sometimes I even feel bad for Toby and the way that Micheal was so mean to him made me sympasize and like him. Fun fact: Paul (Toby) is a Director so he wasn’t even trying out for a part but the producers saw that he would be a great character and because he is a shy actor, when he wasn’t directing he was Toby. And yeah lol

“[John Krasinski] wasn’t just the best Jim - he was Jim,” Fischer says of the audition process. “I remember the day we met. As I was being shown to the actor’s holding room, he was just being called in to read with another potential Pam … As he passed by, he introduced himself, and we shook hands. It was if lightning struck through the center of the room.” “John and I were walking out of an audition scene, and he suddenly turned to me and whispered, ‘You’re my favorite Pam. I hope you get this job,'” Fischer writes. “It was exactly as sweet and cute and supportive as anything Jim would say to Pam. I smiled really big and said, ‘I’m so glad you said that because you’re my favorite Jim and I don’t think anyone could do it except for you.'”

The same can be said with relationships with people outside cinema. You dont have to try hard to figure out how to talk to this person, they're just open. Its the type of connection as if you've known them for years. People that are more reserved and closed off requires more time to get to know.

@@andrew1983 Not necessarily. Chemistry between actors refers to as how credible and organic they can make their relationship. Laurie and Sean Leonard had great chemistry in House, one that he didn't manage with Lisa Edelstein
@Jack-rk7jc3 жыл бұрын
@@andrew1983 not at all. do you have any friends? usually people surround themselves with others who they have good chemistry with. sure you can love your friends, but you can also have great chemistry with a stranger. it's always just the dynamic. sometimes two people get in a room, and they share nothing in common, but they might think alike, and get along just based off of how good their dynamic is. how well they bounce off each other, how they bring one another at the top of their game. (usually you'll both enjoy eachothers company, but even two people that hate each other can have good chemistry, and that can be entertaining to everyone else around them, except them lmao. think mathew mcconaughey and woodey harrelson in true detective. or a younger sibling you maybe didn't get along with but still always got up to trouble with, and had fun.) love and chemistry often get mixed together because they're both kinda the same thing (a good relationship dynamic) but the relationship improves in different ways. or... maybe they both come down to love, but you don't always want to fu(make love)ck everyone you're in love with. hopefully that goes without saying... lmao. so your chemistry with a significant other has additional terms exclusive to your chemistry with family and friends. at the end of the day you probably want good chemistry with everybody around you, but every relationship is unique. some of them might exclusively involve working together and propelling one another in your respective careers, others might exclusively involve bondage and whips.

That chemistry worked because it was natural up to it's core. It wasn't like oh look you're here and I'm looking at you like I love you. It's more like I'm working now and I'm thinking of things to talk about with you and now that you're here I forget all that and I'm just nervous. That's the initial stages of love. Wow Jenna Fischer this is by far the best explanation of chemistry as actors I have ever heard. So spot on as people think its about real life desire to be together. It is a magical thing you cant create by familiarizing oneself with the other. It is the ability to transform into character with no effort. You can see that with John and Jenna as they are Pam and Jim effortlessly and we they are so real to us as a couple. Jim and Pam had amazing magic, much like George and Mary from It's A Wonderful Life....every guy wants to meet their Pam, but precious few ever do.

I don't know guys, there were many scenes where her/his eyes would literally light up,or she would blush, or just look smitten, but like, there were physical signs. I don't how an actor achieves that. The chemistry was electric.

The chemistry started out so well. Their similarities and differences complimented their relationship, and helped it blossom. But, the question that Pam gets asked in the final ep press conference is the same question I had towards the end of their relationship. Also, it wasn't their relationship that made the show desirable to me, at all.

What she said is spot on.... chemistry, no amount of dinners and conversation can create it. It has to be something that becomes naturally between two people. And can I say something else ? ..... when your a kid and your a little bit awkward around people and some people say “ don’t worry, one day you’ll meet someone “ ..... well that’s just bullshit !!

@Tin Man Divorce is not unusual in Hollywood. It's difficult for most people to stay together especially since they spend months apart from their significant other for a movie or show. Thats why some people don't bother getting married like Leonardo dicaprio.
