Jenna! I’m a new subscriber here and it’s my first time commenting, I just wanted to say how much I relate to your heart to heart. I got engaged in January and I’m getting married in March 2025 and honestly wedding planning has been THE most eye opening experience for me re: finding out who my people really are. I went through a LOT of drama earlier this year and had to come to terms with the fact that certain family members and friends are just not there for me the way I’m there for them. It sucks when you think a relationship is solid, but then realize it’s actually only because you’re the one doing the heavy lifting all the time. Anyway, just know I’m right there with you!!

First, I did indeed watch the SD video. Made me miss traveling, though I am still not quite ready to make those kind of trips again. Second, for the most part I agree about people. But I have also had enough encounters with people who are selfish, have little empathy, or are downright malicious as their whole personality. My friendship and trust can be easily earned, but must be earned.
