5 years later and I fucking WISH it still worked that way. Like this year they introduced two factor identification so now when you sign in to your Google account it like sends a text to your phone to make sure it's you. I know Google just wants to make sure their users are safe, and I appreciate that, but for people like me who are very forgetful and lose their phone, guess what? The reason why there are questions like "what time is it", and "what song is this", are for when you have your headphones plugged into your phone, and you say OK Google, then ask it, it will tell you so you don't have to take your phone out of your pocket. This also works for Google home, perhaps while you're getting ready. "Can You Run It" is a site to see if your computer specs can run certain games, so you know before you buy the game.

They have really funny ones that would be perfect for them to do lol. I've needed to know my own IP several times in the past (like Julien said for VPNs, blocking my own IP when I need to track information for website analytics etc) and it's just easier to google it than to check my settings I guess, that's just a lazy google search. if you google "what is my IP" Google does give you the IP Adress of your device. Its necessary for a lot of video game related things, technical support on occasion, ect ect

Geena Gasparelli not quite. Googling what is my ip gives you your Inside Global address, that being the address your ISP will assign your router for internet communication. It’s extremely useful for NAT and Firewall configuration. If you want to know your device IP, in a common household set up that’s likely to be a privately assigned address via DHCP, you can either find that through router settings, through cmd on windows devices, console on Mac, or wifi settings on mobile devices.

I agree that the metric system makes more sense for conversions but it's really not that hard to remember. Honestly, once you get that 4 tablespoons make a quarter cup, 4 cups make a quart, and 4 quarts are in a gallon, you're set. And with the freeway/highway speeds 100 kilometers per hour is about 62 miles per hour - a drastic difference from the 75 miles per hour (about 121 kilometers per hour) that my state allows on the freeway/highway.
