This was my dad and our 2 cats. My parents are separated and my mom decided that she didn't want the cats anymore (after only having them for like 2 months) so I brought them home to my dad because I didn't want them to go to a shelter. He already had two cats at the time and one of them was another cat my mom also decided to get rid of that I brought home. Long story short, it wasn't so much the cats themselves he didn't like. It was more the fact that he felt like he was picking up after his ex-wife. Many years later, he loves them. ❤

If I see one more comment about the cat or dogs being "stressed out"...it was a short and controlled visit to see dog and cat compatibility, both the dogs and cat will be completely fine and no harm was done. Sarah Stella my point in saying it’s stressful for the Cat was for julien.. this situation is not the best model of a happy cat (that would win over julien) because it is stressful for the Cat, due to the nature and psychology of cats. They are very territory oriented, and being in a new and strange territory with all these dogs is going to make the cat react more negatively. When done correctly and introduced in a more secure environment (for the Cat), a Cat can be great with these dogs and they can have positive interaction! Sorry I don’t know why my phone is capitalizing Cat but I’m too lazy to correct it.

Your comment doesn't make sense to me. To whom else would you express concerns about animal welfare except to someone who cares about animal welfare? Both sides are correct: this was a shallow reason to move around that cat (no one is actually getting re-homed so compatibility check seems like a cop out), but at the same time, no one died or is seriously harmed, so probably alls well that ends well. And I hope Jenna learns something about how to care for cats from all these comments. Jenna's not a wilting flower, she's a very smart very tough person who wants to do things right and care for animals with best practices, and sometimes she needs help. Jeez, can't both sides be right without anyone having "the problem"?
