How fun! I’m going to try this and mask off a few horizontal blocks with tape to reveal a white block and write a phrase

This is a great exercise for anyone who wants to know their palette better, and increase their color-mixing facility! With a little practice, even with a limited palette, you can create the impression that there were many more colors on the palette than you actually used!

Seemed a little fast for someone who hasn't received colors or brushes yet but can't wait to start practicing this important mixing! And all of your other exercises to see if I can do ANY of this at all!

This better helps me understand your introduction to watercolor video transitioning colors -as in the rainbow wreath.

Sweet video Jenna! I have these colors in DaVinci as well as M. Graham. I have considered creating a small palette just for experimentation, I hope others give it a try, I think it is quite interesting and for those who want to follow along with your painting examples, I believe that most professional quality paints are going to work! I also watch videos by Lindsay Weirich (TheFrugal Crafter) she does a lot of reviews, yet she is constantly saying “use what you have!” I have used Maimeri Blu paints in the past and they are very nice. I simply have more paints than I can possibly use before I die! So I am not going to buy more. Please continue to create and share your amazing videos and I especially enjoy your florals. Thank you.

I have also watched Lindsays videos, and starting out I purchased many of the items she reviewed, and must say that I regret most of the items I purchased and although I like her, I no longer watch her videos, I prefer higher quality products than those she recommends

Thanks for your feedback, there is four years of content on Jenna’s channel, I always go back and watch my old favorites. Whenever I push myself to redo the same old tutorial, that when I have these amazing break throughs. The champion soccer star started dribbling the ball and yet he still dribbles the ball as a master. What this teaches us is that we master something when we do it over and over and over again! I hope this helps you with your watercolour flowers. There’s some real floral gems on Jenna’s channel that we get to access anytime and anywhere for free 🎥

Usually like your videos, Jenna, but this was a pretty useless video regarding color mixing. You did not even tell us the names of the six colors you used, much less the colors you were mixing. Think you should video only as relaxing exercise to create an abstract painting rather than a color-mixing video.
