Jenna, I LOVE your tutorials! If I had to choose, then the camellias, dahlias and pansies are my favs❣️
@midwifesierranicole Жыл бұрын
Beautiful! I believe the color used on the first flower is Primary Red-Magenta not Quinacridone Red, unless Jenna changed the order of her palette. Either way those two colors are similar and beautiful.

I love watching you paint! Thank you for choosing some new flowers that many artists don’t do. It would be very nice if you could put the name of each flower up on the screen as you’re painting them. Then if you can’t pronounce the name we can still see what you’re thinking of. ♥️

That was an awesome tutorial with some different flowers than any other you tube artist has shown. I do have a question about the my meiri paints. Are they more opaque than the winsor and newton professional? And also they don't seem to bleed as dramatically as the winsor and newton. Would u agree?

Nicely Done Jenna! I liked the Pieris Japonica, Most and the Crocus a fine second! I do wonder if your happy with the MaimeriBlu paints? I know being sponsored is a great tribute to your skills and artistry. I have tried most professional Brands and I have never been happier than with DaVinci Paints! I do wish you much luck with your paints going forward!

I remember she switched to MB a while ago. They only sponsored her after she talked about them n her channel (she wanted to have paints that were better foe the environment)

Love watching you! And I just shared your channel with my SIL, an aspiring watercolor artist. ☺️ Quick question: is it possible to show your reference photo as you’re painting, maybe PIP?
@JennaRaineyChannel2 жыл бұрын
Aw thanks for sharing my channel, Stephanie! 💕 I include the reference photos from time to time, but I am normally just using them for color reference, not so much replicating the photos themselves... But I will keep this in mind!

Such a great video! Just found your videos and loving them all and learning so much so far. So thanks for sharing 😊 Question: I was wondering where the palette you are using in this video is from? I thought it was the same one that's in your Amazon Store but it's not. Do you mind sharing where you got it? I love it! Thanks so much! 💜

I also came to say this. Except the end I'd say dōn....as in don't minus the 't. Doohn I'd think could be misinterpreted to be pronounced dune. My fave palette always includes quinacridone magenta.

Would’ve been nice for you to show us the flowers you’re looking at for your reference photos on your phone. Especially the ones you couldn’t pronounce, because then we couldn’t look them up on our own either - and for certain have the correct flower, that is.

Quin-ak-ri-doan. The e at the end is silent 😁

Well, I loved these and I love flowers. However, as a beginner I guess I need a little more explanation or instruction. I tried to follow along but all flowers looked alike and very similar to one another. I never could get the same shapes as you.

Jenna, Beautiful flowers as always. On the word “QUINACRIDONE”. There is no “aye ” sound at the end. And if you don’t want to keep saying the entire word, you can just say “Quin Red”.❤ also I believe pansies have 5 petals, but I could be wrong. I love these videos. Thank you for making them.

Hi, Jenna, I hear you struggling with the pronunciation of "quinacridone" and I did too, but found out about it through Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinacridone). It's pronounced, "kwin-ack-ra-dōn". The "e" on the end is silent. I hope that helps! I had a really hard time with it, and had to look it up! This is a beautiful exercise and inspiring. I loved the red camellias!
@consueloyoung44842 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the easy going tutorial…love how you easily combine colors to get the rich tones. You probably know by now, quinacridone (sp?), just drop the e at the end. Just ordered the brushes, palette, and paints so as soon as they get here, I will get started. ❤
