🎉 congratulations Jenni and welcome back to garment sewing. I think it’s fabulous that Whitney had a mentor who taught her so much and now she is passing along her knowledge to you. What a great way to pay it forward. 😊😊. I do so enjoy a sewing play date with a friend or two, it’s nice to share a love of making and to be able to help and encourage each other. I am finishing up my precious fabric make- a Kyoto dress made from the Nani Iro double gauze I purchased from the French Seams in Indianapolis when I came out for the shirt making class! I even figured a way to line it as the fabric “sticks” to itself. The lining isn’t perfect but I made it work. 🙌. Hopefully I’ll get it posted before I leave for Fredericksburg next Tuesday. 🤞.

Well done Jenni! Great sews. My only issue with some of my most precious fabrics is they were bought before I went up a few dress sizes and now there isn’t enough for my size. Some of them I have made a top or a tunic instead of a dress but if it was bought for a top initially then there just isn’t enough atm. I hope I can get my weight down again as I get treatment for some of my medical issues.

The fabric is beautiful. I really wish I could find some Indian block prints..Gorgeous Those pants are fab. I have a belly so maybe not the best style for me, but they look fabulous on you.
