I feel really comforted, with a nostalgic twist. Kinda like to those carefree childhood days of feeling accepted and understood by people without ever even doubting it I guess 🤷‍♂️ And then the chorus hits and it's just... Wow. The floodgates open and i start crying and get covered in goosebumps. Every damn time 😂 Jenni is one of the very few artists who can make even an abused, scarred, and traumatized trainwreck like me to feel warm inside, and just validated enough to feel like I matter, and deserve to feel happy and loved just like everyone else -- no matter what i was made to believe by those past abusers.. It's reeeeally refreshing to feel "normal" and more than just an object -- even for just a short while.. ☺️ Music is really powerful ❤️
