Lisa is also a very good vocalist as she showed in her solos and in her collab, but almost never sings in Blackpink, because it works better with the other three. She also never got any dance breaks even while being the main dancer. That's what being a group is about, everyone has space to shine and everyone has to make some sacrifices. Plus, Jennie also said that she likes to sing and that she started rapping because she was the only trainee with good english. So it's probably fine for her to sing more and have some rap verse from time to time.

When she got a long verse from ddd, she was so happy too. I also kind of get the whole "everyone has space to shine" but jennie is the MAIN rapper, groups' main rapper RAPS. Blackpink has a lot of dance breaks too, and often times it's Lisa and chaeng in the middle since they're part of the dance line. We cant deny jennie indeed wants to rap more hence why she just made one herself for her new version of solo

Jennies got a strong enough singing voice to start off songs so they tend to use her for that rather than her rapping as Lisa isnt quite there with her singing. So Jennie ends up having her amount of time rapping cut down or even cut out. And Lisa ends up loosing her singing lines and gaining rapping lines.

Yo Knox my man, I was just thinking you hadn’t reacted to The Show’s version of Solo, cause Jennie rewrote the 2nd verse, as well as a few of her rap verses in other songs specifically for the concert and now I see you dropped this reaction. I wish the compilation included those versions too, but you could react to them next time, now that The Show’s videos are available on youtube. Also, I couldn’t agree more with you, Lisa gets more attention cause she’s given more rap verses which is a little weird since Jennie is the main rapper, but she’s also a lead vocal and that’s where she’s been directed to most of the times, but when you hear her rapping, her flows, her delivery and the fact that she actually writes her lines (this has been recently confirmed, both Jennie and Lisa write their verses, and like I said, a lot of their songs during The Show and their solos/covers were written by the girls), you can tell that she’s one of the best in the industry. Hopefully we get her abilities full on display with their next comeback. Jennie’s such an ace, all-around artist.

There are several of their songs that have a Japanese version. Usually either Jennie or Lisa or both change their raps for those versions. Boombayah, Whistle, Playing With Fire, Stay, As if it's Your Last, Ddu-Du Ddu-Du, Forever Young, Really, See U Later, Kill This Love, Lovesick Girls, How You Like That, Pretty Savage and You Never Know. The Japanese version of Whistle also has an acoustic version. Also Ddu-du ddu-du has a remix version and there is another concert version of the remix that they usually due as a concert encore with different raps by both Lisa and Jennie.
