ok wait I LOVED Jennie's Zen. It was definitely so refreshing. Honestly, I feel that Jennie just wants to make different music in general, so not just Western music and going away from K-pop. And I agree that one of the promotions she does is tease about them in her Jennie portal, which isn't working. I also am not sure if Zen is supposed to be a song or an intro to the RUBY album since it's not specified that Zen is an MV. Either way, it was a bop❤

Ur doubt is right. Zen isn't a song nor a mv. Its a visualizer for the zen version of her ruby album. Notice the title... In mantra tittle its written official music video but for zen, nothing is mentioned.

ZEN is such a great intro. Zen is spiritual power that has to do with your mind. The mindset has to do with peace and not judging yourself over things you cannot change. Something interesting is the use of owls in the MV as well. Owls tend to represent wisdom and I think it factors in with the song in general with lines like “In the dark I grew”. Zen is her accepting her career to this point and her growth from where she started. The chorus is her saying despite everything to this point she got the wisdom to be fine despite everything and nobody is gonna move her. Even someone on TikTok mentioned one of her makeup looks is the same look from “solo” then we get the look with her having blue in the corner of her eye. She is still Jennie but she has grown from that point and now gonna protect her piece (like how rubies represents protection, which plays into the album name)

Zen was an artistic masterpiece in its own right, two thumbs up for Jennie and team's vision and creativity. 'HER' was an instant banger for me. And yeah Minnie had to tweak her dance choreography abit for her recent live show performance on KBS Music Bank bc the part where she does the blindfolding was rated PG15 by the Korean media censorship.

I enjoyed Jennie’s mv for Zen more than the song itself - tho I loved the message from the beginning. Just wasn’t blown away like I wanted to be.. except I was for the mv cuz that was friggin jaw dropping amazing to watch! She’s gorgeous as usual. Excited to hear more when the whole album is released tho!! Still haven’t gotten around to Minnie’s song but will asap.

Zen was soo good.... It wasn't even announced, so it was a surprise . And btw.. Its a visualizer for zen version of ruby album. Its not even a song. And btw... Apt views have nothing to do with bruno or rosie. The song was just too good. If bruno is the reason for the views then why didn't die with a smile get same amount of views...it even has gaga on it and it was released months before apt. People should grow up and realize apt got successful bcz the song is trendy and commercial. Not only bcz of bruno. So thank u Rosie 𝙖𝙣𝙙 Bruno for the masterpiece.
