Jennie - Solo (Moombahton Remix/Mashup by Teiji M)

Hey everybody!!
(There’s copy-pasted parts from the description in Reggaeton version).
Finally, I bring you this work I’ve been working on!! I think this is the first time I make two different mixes and upload it at the same time. (I say different because even being the same song tho, the instrumentals are completely different, with other key scale, other different bps/tempo, etc…)
“Solo” is a melodic pop song with a trap beat (above all in the drop and obviously in the final breakdown). I love it, but and trap is not my favorite genre of music, so maybe because of the rhythm, most of trap songs (as well as Reggae) fit perfectly with a Reggaeton/Dancehall/Moombahton beat, and I love those genres and how they sound, so I was searching Moombahton songs and I found 4U by Aero Chord, which I LOVED IT SO MUCH, but I didn’t like the second drop non the ending part in the song, so I was searching a second drop that fits well with the song (which is VERY difficult to find one), and then I found a mashup between 4U and another song called Possession by KUURO, which fitted SOOO well!!
Maybe it’s too hard and dirty for a drop, but as I said, it’s too difficult to find a drop which fits as well as it does with a Moombahton song.
Trivia: I was thinking in just one song at the beginning, but I finally chose two instrumental tracks ‘cause I loved them Xd
So, we could say Reggaeton genre is the pop/latin/soft version of Solo, and Moombahton genre is the serious/epic version.

If they start making all their songs this way , it won't be really considered music you know.. They have to keep trying different styles.. Even I like EDM, but always having that as a genre will not work for longer..

It may also show their versatility in genres. They can go rock in one song and electronic in the other which is being adapted by the k pop industry.

I was kinda underwhelmed at first and that's because I already know the first drop 😅 but still I know how much work it is to make this and let it perfectly fit, I know you hard a time finding the right drop! The second drop definitly surprised me CUZ IT DROPPED HARDD!!! It's indeed very hard/dirty, but also kinda Jungle Terror/Dubstep-ish. I love it it's different!! Btw I really love your music taste, I guess we have the same taste haha (however I do like Trap but not the generic Trap). Keep going with your good work!! You really never disappoint :D!!!!!

What first drop are you talking about? Do you mean 4U (by Aero Chord), original Solo, or my Reggaeton version? Yes, it was kinda hard to make all this stuff, because it's not only making the song, I have to edit the video (not only for KZbin, but also for Instagram, stories, Twitter, etc), make the thumbnail, make the cover, write the descriptions (for KZbin video mainly, but also for Twitter posts, Instagram, Deviantart, Soundcloud, Facebook, etc), translate them from English to Spanish (I'm from Spain), then I have to add subtitles for each song (these are the same lyrics but at different times, so I had to do it twice), translate them in English, Spanish and also Japanese (I know a little bit of Japanese and I can addapt the subtitles just searching translations on internet), and that takes me a lot of time (more than a week probably xD). Yeah, the second drop was too dirty and Dubstep-ish (I love that term, I'm gonna use it more LOL), I would use another different drop, but it's hard to find some with the same style as the one I chose. I made another mashup which is trap as well, so I don't hate it, but it's not my favorite genre TBH xd Thank you so much for your words!! It makes me feel so happy and also makes me want to make more creations like this one ♥♥♥
