Oh absolutely he felt guilty once they got back together and she talked about how she "spiraled for years" (not that I believe her about that). The whole "not going anywhere" doesn't sound so romantic once you know their past because it's just that she didn't trust him after the dumping practically at the altar. Ben probably prefers near elopement's because that's what he did with Jennifer garner. Then he was able to go along with her plantation wedding with the three wedding dresses I would never go back to someone who had humiliated me that but Ben gets away with everything.

The break up was from Ben it was never mutual . We all remember that. He was drinking partying gambling and womanizing before the wedding Bc he didn’t want to do it anymore- in essence he finally had the bravery to call it off and she looked so upset coming out of the Ivy from the news - it was definitely a shock to everyone that he called it off and of course they had to control the narrative that it was a mutual decision Bc he humiliated her. After that the nasty things he said about the relationship in the media was even more painful- never a gentleman and always blaming her and their relationship instead of himself for ruining his career. I’m not sure why she gave him another chance after her reaching tremendous success and acknowledgment in recent years - I think after being dumped by Armas he wanted some of her success and reached out to her. He didn’t deserve that second chance but to each his own - hope the lessons were learned and that she didn’t misplace her faith with him. It’s a great story and hopefully she won’t need to hold onto it if in case things don’t work out - she deserves better by now - it’s a lifetime of trying . Good luck to them ☘️
