Well he is recovering.. the fact he was always in the media, going to lavish parties, awards then becoming an alcoholic and pounding bottles alone depressed then getting the recovery and has to go around to the parties, award shows again he’s most likely just nervous and hasn’t been interviewed in so LONG.. he’s most likely on alcohol addiction meds, depression meds , anxiety meds etc also and is probably making him nervous and taking a toll on him mentally

Affleck is talking to reporters about the Eastern Congo Initiative, a charity he started over a decade ago. Just search for it-it’s the name you see on the wall behind him. I don’t know if he’s had a drink or not. I really don’t think anyone commenting should be making that call as if it is a fact. It’s very anxiety-inducing to be in front of screaming reporters and cameras with flashing lights at anytime, but especially so when you’re a person who is so uncomfortable with the part of moviemaking that requires you to go out and speak. But he’s doing it for the Eastern Congo Initiative. I don’t believe Jennifer Lopez Affleck is there to pull him away from the paps at all. I think she was there, close by all along, and that he called to her, and she was there immediately to comfort him and to help him remove himself from all these paps in a graceful way.
