Cool that she's directing now too. There's a ton of great female directors now: Susanne Bier, Sofia Coppola, Greta Gerwig, Debra Granik, & Ava DuVernay.

I enjoyed the movie. Saw it at the Vail Film Festival this year. Alison Janey and Ed O'Neal were fantastic. I thought that Morrison did a good job for a first effort...

all these female directors dont know what makes a movie great. it's all superficial... no deep meaning or anything. anybody can take a camera and film crap... it takes a real artist to have it mean something. last female directed film i would call great is babadook.. but since then it's all mediocre garbage

Since only 13% of directors in Hollywood are female, it's obvious that the remaining 87% of male directors are predominantly responsible for the deluge of crap that comes out of that crazy town.
