Is it just me, or does anyone else get really sad that this time has passed. To the point that you want to somehow travel back to this time and never leave. Also, do you think previous generations feel this to?? Can't believe this was so long ago now....feels like just yesterday. ❤😢

Pushing 30 i'm glad to see that is more people here on KZbin that listen to real music from the 90's, because i'm a really really big fan of The Cardigans because they're my absolute favorite rock band of all times, and the first song i heard with The Cardigans was Lovefool so that songs is bringing back a lot of good old memories from the 90's in my opinion. 🙂 And the 90's pop songs was beautiful compared to todays shitty pop music.

Errr....I have to respectfully disagree! However this is highly subjective and almost impossible to answer. The 1950s probably had the best quality of romantic ballads (Nat King Cole, Doris Day), and the 1980s had the power ballads (too many to mention!). The 1970s had the folk and pop ballads. The 1990s had a few ballads but mostly boring, over commercialised stuff like Celine Dion and Mariah Carey. I was a teen during the 1980s and it was the decade of a style genre explosion.

I was a little kid when this song came out and I remember it was always on the radio and on tv. I remember my mom and my older sister would always sing along to it whenever it came on. The song was so hypnotic to little me. It’s crazy running into this today and hearing it for the first time in decades, now being able to understand what the song is about. Nostalgic and bittersweet feeling. Sweet good times growing up.

Great song! I've always liked this song, but had forgotten it over the years (not a song I would want to have forgotten). I'm glad to have found it & listen to it again!

A time with no smartphones, social media or internet. Just good songs like this one. Life was simple back then unlike today...

I agree with you, but the internet was already an established thing back then...

Omg what lies are these! 😂 when this song came out I had internet at home, ICQ and mIRC were the most popular to chat with friends and know new people, we had school forums online, the next year after this song while it was still popular we all were using LiveJournal and MSN messenger, and while smartphones were not a thing a lot of us had a mobile to txt friends all day. I had video games and loved going online to check news about Mariah Carey in fan pages as I loved her music. And you forget about TV, we were all glued watching Mtv, MuchMusic, VH1 and Cartoon Network. The difference is that we still had a life outside the virtual world.

I was 15 when Crush came out. I'll be 35 in 2 months....brings back great memories. The garbage they have on the radio these days is revolting (notably mumble rappers).

Woah! This song brings me back. I literally forgot it existed. How can this be possible? Hearing it after all these years gave me a slap of nostalgia in the face. It's actually pretty damn good. Catchy af, great vocals, nice production and all-around good song. It's crazy how a single song can bring back so many memories and feelings while also capturing the essence of one's life at a specific time.

Here to say Jai Paul absolutely killed the cover of Crush and hearing the original I can see why he chose this song to cover. It's a banger
