Well I gave up looking for jobs on upwork since, first of my profile was set to private because i havent had any job in a while and i need to get a job to make it set to public. Also, the connects to get a job is much nowadays and the way other freelancers bids is just discouraging. I've been doing more of networking and also improving on my skills and maybe by luck land a job on linkedin someday. I really appreciate you following up.

In my case. Focus on writing good proposal. Find client's name on previous freelance feedback below the job, read the job description and think what the prospective client really want and point it out on the proposal. The proposal must be concise and proofreaded. Lastly, send a sample. So, the client can understand you better.
