Jennifer, thanks for this very informative tutorial. I'm new to stamping and paper crafts. I'm 65 and feel this is MY time of my life. I'll be watching your videos frequently as they are clear and concise. Again, thanks.

I just found this video, & I'm thrilled. I've been stamping & embossing for over 35 years. They didn't even have embossing guns then. You had to use a light bulb, coffee warmer or the heat from an electric stove burner. I feel I know a lot more about the ink differences then ever. I avoided some inks because I was unsure of their properties. Thank you.

Oh Jennifer, thank you so much for such an informative video. For a very long time I have wondered about all the different types of inks and why some people use this or that, never known why the market has dye and pigment inks, just thought it was all same by different companies.....Thank you so much for sharing all this wonderful information. Next time I'm in a store and I see the shelves and shelves of inks I now have the knowledge to know WHAT I REALLY WANT ! Love you so much Sue (from Australia)

Jennifer this was so helpful! I had previously watched these videos but I must have missed this one so I am glad you re-linked it. I wanted to know how you get so much of the white and clear Hero Arts embossing powder? I have only found one link that sells it in bulk, and it definitely isn't Hero Arts, otherwise I spend a bunch of money on the little jars.

Wonderful video presentation. You make it easy to learn. Question: sometimes the ink pads will say "dye" or "pigment". Sometimes they don't. Other than researching each one is there another way to find out simply by looking at the container? Thanks again!

Thanks for making these videos. THey're so helpful and fun. Can you heat emboss with powder by aiming the heat gun on the back of the page? I don't have a good heat gun, so I'm worried it'll blast the powder everywhere if I do it as you did it in the video.

this may be a dumb question but how does the mixed leftovers turn out when embossed? will you have each individual come through and show individually or do they melt together and make new colors? i would be afraid of making muddy brown hues.

Can you tell me what the wattage is for the milwaukee heat tool. I have a heat tool but I don't feel it is doing a good job. Since this video is 2 years old, are there any updates for the heating tool? Can I still buy from Hero Arts or from Amazon?
@mariannepetralia4789 жыл бұрын
Is this milwaukee heat gun made by Wagner? The Hero Arts site shows a heat gun but the name on it is Wagner. Is this the heat gun you refer to in your video? I currently have one which I purchased several years ago made by Ranger. Does this mlwaukee brand do a better job?

How much does the type/weight of card stock effect the results of the ink? I have never been able to get my Hero Arts ink to dry smooth. It's still blotchy after drying.

What do you recommend for gold embossing powder-mine keeps spreading!?? Is it better to stamp with gold ink and use clear emboss powder or stamp with clear versamark and use gold powder? AND does it matter what kind of paper you use? Thank you sooo much, frustrated in fesno...
@jennifermcguireink9 жыл бұрын
Cory Scalone doesn't matter what paper. i use versamark with all colored powders including gold. wipe the surface with an anti-static first to prevent if from going everywhere
