Great review! This is the first review of yours that I have watched. You do a very nice job and you’re very professional and informative. While it’s location at the far end of the strip is not the best, remember it’s only a half mile walk to Sahara, which has a monorail station , and then you are on the monorail system and you can get all over the Strip. You didn’t mention the rides on top of the SkyPod. I did the Insanity ride where you sit in a chair and then it extends you over the side and spins around and it was 1000 feet straight down. They also have the cable jump. I agree with you that the Strat would probably only keep you busy for a day or two, but given the proximity of the monorail station at Sahara it’s perfectly fine. I heard bad things about the rooms and you have allayed my fears and I am going to try staying there.

Always l9ve your videos Jennifer. Have never stayed at Strat however we did visit in April and enjoyed it. I went in the Extreme ride and wish I had done the Skyjump but plan to when we go in November.

The first time I went to Vegas was for my 21st Birthday last year and we stayed at the Strat. It was amazing! I had a great time. It's far from the action of the strip though which is a downside, but other than that it was fun! I'm going to Vegas again this year for my 22nd but staying at the Flamingo instead. Can't wait to see what the Flamingo has in store for us!

Hello! I honestly don’t know tho I’m sure there are many. When I go for a extended time I usually plan a stay in a timeshare that has laundry on the property or unit itself. Hope you have a great trip! 😊

Visited the Strat to have evening dinner at Top of the World which was a wonderful and memorable experience! Visited the observation deck during day at another occasion.

hi jen!! how the hell are ya? i hope w2ell... thankyou for another great video!!! so.... the strat is a wonderful place. we love the strat! but they need to add more slots in there because it does get hopping every now and then so you dont have to wait for a machine to open. so, wifey and i now love the north strip. im 63 and i dont care for the crowds like we used to deal with when we stayed at venitian. our last two trips to vegas we stayed at sahara. we walked up to strat alot! probably 10 times and never had an issue with the neighbor hood. even late at night i went up to the strat diner for take out food and it was probably 1 am. there are homeless like everywhere else in vegas but they didnt harrass us.. we once again ate at the best restaraunt which is top of the world in the tower. next year we will be staying at the fountainblue!! take care jen. safe travels!! cheers

Good view! This is a nice hotel. It is a shame that it isn't near much. We normally can have fun anywhere. This looks for a younger clientele. Wow, what a view at the top of the Observation deck! Great video!

I want to go to Vegas for my bday Jan 25-28 I know the pools won’t be open but you think the strat is better than circus circus and the Oyo? Please anyone recommend similar hotels to these thanks!

Strat is way way better than those 2 combine. Like what everyone says, it's all the way to the end but there's buses that runs along the strip. It will also saves you hundreds of dollars on room rates. High end hotels like Bellagio, Ceasar, Aria and many more are for convenience and to experiance the high-end hotels in Vegas. If you and your friends are splitting the room rates and resort fee, and are well within your budget and have more money for gambling, food and drinks, then go for it.

Yeah definitely strat over those and honestly a cheap Uber ride gets you into the heart of the strip if you’re not into walking. Tuscany suites is another cheaper hotel that has fairly large rooms and is closer to the strip.

1st visit 15 yrs ago when CVS was the closest place you can walk (15mins), it's not like what it is now. We enjoyed our stay 15 yrs ago and we will go back next month with no worries. Also, we can just take the bus that runs along the strip, saves our feet from hurting at the end of the day.

Think it’s funny folks say it’s a bad neighborhood cause I easily walked to the strip and never felt fear or funkiness walking around any hours of the night or day but I’m a blue collar guy so maybe I’ve got different standards. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Never stayed at the Strat. It is in a bad neighborhood. Palace Station, and Sahara Hotel are close. It is a nice hotel to stay at. But, it is in a bad neighborhood. That is the place to stay if you don't want to go out at night. Pools and bars don't have much interest in. Do they have good restaurants? This hotel was built by Las Vegas Legend Bob Stupak. Don't like heights either. A couple of nice places on Freemont Street. Just one or two blocks away from the Strat you have a bad neighborhood.

Yea I def wouldn’t want to walk around there at night. The security in and around the Strat was great and plentiful. Trying to think we never even ate there. We ate at a famous bagel place before we went and brought snacks there with us. There were many places to dine most were closed when i was filming in the early morning tho.

@@christiancraig2326 wow! Las Vegas is a hell of a start! Good for you! Are you planning on traveling around or using the car to get to other resorts? Only asking because getting around vegas is challenging it may be easier to take cabs and ride shares if you are new. I use them on my trips. Strat is not close to anything that is the only down fall with the place.

@JenniferSparksSavoy we plan on exploring the strip and all that Monday through Tuesday, Wednesday riding atvs in the Mojave, and grand canyon Thursday. Friday we're going to the California border. But the rental car is all week and I ain't trying to pay for parking everywhere, and I have no idea how to do anything including what to do at the airport 🤣

Sounds awesome! I’m actually working on a airport video now. Lol. Make sure when you leave the plane you know if you are going to the blue or red terminal. You will take a tram to get to luggage/ transportation. I’ve taken the wrong tram by accident last time I don’t recommend that lol 😂 Strat does charge for parking now if you are figuring that into cost. Honestly just I would consider getting a cab from airport to and from Strat and around town and renting a car there when you want to leave for the adventures. It would simplify things if you can get a good rate. Ride shares take longer but are generally cheaper
