Jen, the reataurant was called the Veranda Cafe. Wow, there are so many changes since i was there last.

The veranda Cafe used to have a nice all day breakfast menu. It's still got the windows with the nice views but now you have to be Platinum level elite or above to get in there. It's just a limited buffet that mainly serves salty pork every single day of the week.

Thanks for the tour, you did well, next time do the walk to Fox Tower Casino too. If you do decide to stay make Great Cedar your last choice, stay at The Fox Tower (high floor overlooking the pool) or The Grande Pequot (beautiful rooms and centrally located)

Cedars filet mignon is amazing and they decorated so beautifully. We had dinner there 3 weeks ago was amazing.

Incredible and amazing resort Jennifer😊the hotel and casino are humongous!!!!! The casino floor is definitely bigger than MGM Grand. Glad you had a good time in Connecticut and sorry to hear you were bummed out that day😔 Another thing I did in Las Vegas was I wanted to try to walk from Caesars Palace to the Rio hotel and casino but the people at the bus stop talked me out of it. I enjoyed seeing the Rio and i didn't get a chance to go inside the Palms Casino. Walking from the strip to the Rio looks feasible but it's not recommended

Hello! Yea Foxwoods is very big. The casinos are all separated so it feels like you are visiting many resorts under the same roof. I never walked that stretch to Rio either for the same reason. Sure it’s not far but I try to stay away from potential problems

Great video! That restaurant that is long gone for breakfast and lunch that is now the VIP lounge was called the Veranda Cafe. It was a great and reasonable breakfast.

I started going there back in 1992 a couple of months after they opened and was recently there this past Thanksgiving Day. How time flies. hihi ☺

The first California Pizza Kitchen I ate at was the one in The Mirage Hotel. Back when Steve Wynn actually owned it. Don't like Starbucks. Hope you had a good meal there.

Had no idea Foxwoods was that big. Seems easy to get lost! Be careful in Paris, it might not be exactly how you envision it. But I assume you do your research before you go somewhere 🙏

Hello! Yes it’s HUGE! We did research and my daughter has been there a few times. Have booked resorts in safe places and will be wondering around during the daytime. Big goal is going to Disneyland lol thanks for the heads up!

Kinda feeling like you did about now as well. It got really cold,then it snowed enough to shovel (just next to Connecticut in NY)and it is the time difference that the sun is going down so fast that all affected me 😢 Thanksgiving 🦃in Cape Cod sounded historical and maybe crowded. Foxwoods looked really pretty and came to realize that the last time I was there was in November ❤ Enjoy your beautiful Christmas season 🎄

The pool at the Cedar Hotel has been closed since covid. They have no plans on reopening it anytime soon if at all is what I was told.

I love chasing the fox in foxwoods when I go there my back pain, my ma, ma over and over from kids gone,no babysitting grandkids and no husband honey, honey where's my slippers lol just me and myself and I best times ever once a year I stay for 2 days stress free 💓 💖 😂😂!!!!!!!

I feel down some days. But, I'm always glad when I push myself and do something. I remember star and actor George Hamilton admitted that he liked, some days, to stay in bed and do nothing at all, on some days. Even order a pizza and pull himself out of bed to get the door. But George, always conscious of his looks, said he had more wrinkles from sleeping when he finally got out of bed.

Im a regular at Foxwoods And i Love Kids but its out of control at Foxwoods My opinion is Children don't belong in a casino no matter how hard they try to make it Family friendly..10PM is too late for kids in a casino...And im afraid it will get worse with the new addition, Sorry i don't mean to be a party pooper but at times its way too much.. Sometimes its hard for Gambling adults to even get into a Restaurant because of lines of families. Thanx for your great Videos Jennifer!
