[...."billig" => "cheap", or "chintzy"] Thank you, very much, Jenny, for this great lesson! IMHO: It is very helpful to learn words like these, and then, to see/use them in simple phrases!! I just need to hear the "spoken words more often to get the pronunciation, and "cadence" down, and to give my ears, and brain more experience in "listening" carefully, and translating meanings. I think that it takes a number of "hours" to get this "assimilation" into One's own thoughts. You're AWESOME!!! IMHO: IT FEELS SO GOOD TO START TO MAKE PROGRESS, IN LEARNING THIS AMAZING LANGUAGE!!!!

Vielen Dank fur Ihre Videos. Könnten Sie mir bitte erklären warum wir sagen , ' Du bist dir sicher ? ' und for dritte Person singular ' Er ist sich sicher' ? Dativ in zweite Person aber accusative in dritte Person?
@Gandalf-fe3gw
@Gandalf-fe3gw 4 жыл бұрын
Edit: Ups, meine vorherige Antwort an dich war leider falsch. Ich entschuldige mich ^^; Die richtige Antwort ist: es gibt dafür keine feste Regel. In allen anderen Formen (1. Person, 2. Person, Singular und Plural) steht der Dativ, nur in der 3. Person Singular und Plural steht das Reflexivpronomen. Eine Erklärung könnte sein, dass in der 1. und 2. Person immer klar ist, wer gemeint ist. Aber wenn man sagen würde: "Er ist ihm sicher", wüsste man nicht, ob mit diesem "ihm" derjenige selbst gemeint ist, oder eine andere Person.

I know this is a vague question but being a english speaker we normally say I first obviously but I was wondering why would I start the sentence in example "Diesen Stuhl finde ich Schön"" when I could just say "Ich finde diesen Stuhl Schönn" Is this based off of region or is it just preference? Thanks :) I know in english I could also say "This table here I find to be nice" But I feel like that adds pointless words when I could just say "I think this table is nice" I guess I kind of answered my on questions. It just depends on your choice of delivery or how "proper" you want to sound? Im probably wrong but thats how I see it.

Please excuse me, I have one question, one sentence bothers me a lot, I've been thinking for 45 minutes. Sentence: In dieser Nachbarschaft wohnen nur reiche Leute. This reichE bothers me. Why is -e a suffix, can you help me just explain which declension it is (weak, strong, mixed, zero or whatever) and why? I thought it was 0-deklination because there is no der/ein but I don't know...
