When I go back some day I will share the video. I bottom bounced for walleye at 30 to 40 feet in September and did pretty good.

Nice diving video. I have also dived a few times at J/R Lake including the RxR bridge piers. Great lake to dive especially when it is clear with good underwater visibility. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Joe. We will try to be back on Jennings this year.

This is awesome. My daughter lost her paw patrol fishing pole in that cove. And i lost a grapple anchor there aswell. My daughter would flip if i showed her a video of you spotting her pole

Maybe some day we will dig it out

@@EverythingFishingJT if so that would be cool just to see the recover and to show the video to my daughter. I do doubt the pole would be much good tho🤣 but I will definetly stay tuned in and you be safe out there on these dives. I and a close group of friends enjoy your content especially that of Jennings Randolph lake and look forward to all future content

Just found your videos today and have been hooked. I basically grew up at deep creek being there every weekend in summers and going to college at Garrett. I also live 5 min from cross creek. Funny we found this lake by accident when going to potomac state college for my step daughter. Wondered what kind of fish were in it. Now we know. Thanks

Hi Steve. Glad you found my videos. Hopefully I get better as I go and continue to entertain and provide information. This year should be a good one.

I love this video. It is very surprising how many fish you saw. This is a hard lake to fish. I love the lake. Now it would be great if you would consider a dive at Mt Storm lake. It isn’t that far from Jennings and the water will be warmer.
@EverythingFishingJT2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Russell. We will definitely look into Mt Storm

That's really cool. Have you ever dived or thought about diving at Deep Creek Lake?

Hi Brenda. Thanks. Check out my channel and you will find a few DCL dive videos. They are not as clear. The spring time video is the clearest.

Can you go do this around the wv launch or the cliffs? As a kid when lake levels were this low I loved finding stuff people had dropped in these areas
@jasontrimbur84972 жыл бұрын
We can look into it. Not sure where the cliffs are. We are new to Jennings Randolph but will be diving it again.

What do you think the vis was like rest of the lake? Have you dived the lake when it wasn't raining?
@EverythingFishingJT Жыл бұрын
I can’t really say for sure about the clarity of other areas of the lake. We plan on coming back and diving a different area. Possibly this year.

You mentioned the thermocline. Where was that? I’ve had a lot of good luck targeting catfish at that cove, but since the water had dropped it’s been very slow.

Fab Thx4sharing Question: Did you see any LMB?
@bbunderwater18572 жыл бұрын
I saw a few. One small one by the Christmas trees. I saw a giant one as I came around the shallow pillar. He bolted before the camera saw him. He was bigger than the larger smallies.
@donhershfeld99302 жыл бұрын
How FAR ABOVE BOTTOM, on average did you find these fish? Range as well? Riding surprisingly high?
@bbunderwater18572 жыл бұрын
The shallow bridge pillar was about 13 FOW. They were about 8’ feet away from the pillar. And probably between 5-10 feel in the water column. The water temp above the thermocline was a balmy 68 f. Below, as you probably heard in the video was much colder. MUCH COLDER….probably high 40’s to low 50’s…
@peribonca2 жыл бұрын
Did you see any trout down there?
@bbunderwater18572 жыл бұрын
No trout, but I spent very little time below the thermocline which is where I would imagine the trout to hang out…

Are you even allowed in that part of the damn near that railroad trestle? I've never been near there, don't have a boat. At one time there was an area roped off over there because of an eagles nest. I've never had much luck fishing at JRL, and neither has most of the people I know that fish there. I've only ever fished off the shore, not many people fish there, the fishing is poor. I've had far better luck fishing the river below the damn.
